The hotel has a good location, and the newer building/rooms are clearly more modern… but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
From the moment we arrived, there was a constant push to upsell — pay more for this, upgrade for that. I had booked a room with a balcony, but we were first taken to an old, dark room with no balcony at all. I refused, and we were then shown another “new” room which still felt rough, poorly finished, and quite dark.
Eventually, we ended up paying extra for a “suite” in the new building. Yes, it’s newer and a bit cleaner, but the quality is honestly disappointing — cheap materials, poor finishing, worn-out towels that feel 100 years old, and paper-thin slippers. We finally got a balcony, but it was on the 4th floor overlooking a busy, noisy street… not exactly relaxing.
The photos online are also very misleading compared to reality.
Cleaning is very average, definitely not sparkling clean. Even the lift was dusty and full of fingerprints, which says a lot about the overall standard.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning. In April, it only works on heating mode !!! and we were told they don’t switch to cooling yet !!! I complained twice with no resolution.
I seriously feel like I am getting heat stroke, while the weather outside was actually cool. Our only options were to either open the balcony door and deal with the street noise or stay in a boiling hot room in what is supposed to be a “premium suite”.
Also, the bathroom setup is very basic, no accessories like a soap holder or a glass for your toothbrush, so you’re left placing everything directly on the sink, which honestly just feels a bit eww.
Checkout is tomorrow at 11am and we genuinely can’t wait to leave.
From the first day, my husband wanted to switch hotels — he disliked it that much and was ready to take the loss since we had already paid upfront. I insisted we stay, and I regret it, I really should have listened.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
Definitely never again.

Herşey güzeldi
Otelin konumu on numara süper
Friendly and very efficient receptionists and waiting-on staff.
Our bedroom, a superior double, was in the older part of the hotel, looking out on to the gardens, so lovely views and quiet. The bathroom and soft furnishings seemed
new, but the very scuffed bathroom door was in contrast and slightly detracted from this smart appearance. The room was very clean and warm (we had heating and air con). The bed was way too hard for us and we woke up stiff; again, that is a matter of preference as we are used to a fairly soft bed.
As other people have said, we like our food hot and the food is served lukewarm at best, sometimes cold (with the exception of the soups). One morning I fancied baked beans from the breakfast offering and, upon finding them stony cold, had three goes (!) to get them just slightly warmer with the assistance of a waiter, who tried his best.
There was a very large and tempting-looking variety of food at dinner and breakfast; plenty, I would say, to suit all palates. The salads and the soups (which were actually pretty hot) were particularly good. We enjoyed the flavours of the food. When there were far fewer guests mid-week, there was a much reduced selection. Happily, however, it meant that that food was actually hot and we found it tastier.
All in all, a very good experience, but we would have liked a softer bed and hotter food please. We came to this hotel 10 years ago and had a similar experience.
Yemekler güzeldi. Odayı üst sınıfa yükselttiler. Resepsiyonda ki arkadaşlar gayet iyi karşıladı
Eski ve orta sınıf bir otel! Resimlerde gözüktüğü gibi değil. Merkezde olduğu için fiyat yüksek. Ama kalınabilir
Personel güler yüzlü ve yardımsever
Sabah saat 7 de matkap sesi vardı kabul edilemez bir durum ve odadaki perde kapalı olmasına rağmen tüm ışığı içeri alıyordu , otel konforunda konaklama durumu maalesef bundan dolayı mümkün olmadı
