I would not recommend. Highly in need of refurbishment, rooms so small and crowded, and unbearably uncomfortable in warm
Pros:

The staff were friendly. The meals were well prepared and tasty, both dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

This is rated a 4* but it’s more like a 3* if that. Our room was so small even for just 2 people, it felt so compact and crowded when you added our luggage. Unfortunately the hotel does not have air conditioning as well so the sleep was so uncomfortable and muggy. The hotel has been around for many years, it’s time that they refurbish and up their standards. It was also way too costly for what we experienced. Paid £147 but definitely not worth that much. There are much better hotels in Milton Keynes.

breakfast experience, would probably not visit again.
Pros:

Location was excellent, lovely room, safe and fridge in the room, unexpected, so a lovely bonus.
Evening restaurant was excellent, great staff. Pool area was nice, with a lovely patio area, great for relaxing.

Cons:

Breakfast was adequate. No a la carte, very surprised for a 4 star hotel. Charging £20 for what was essentially a Premier Inn buffet was disappointing. Expected better.

Nice looking building, reasonably comfortable, dog friendly room with easy access to outside but not worth the rate paid
Pros:

Large comfortable bed, clean, decor good.

Cons:

The price for the room; not a very friendly reception when booking in; there was some sort of industrial fan kicking in and out throughout the night; no air con….it wasn’t just a standard room; Window latch hanging off; Generally under par for the price

Pros:

Nice estate house with lovely gardens and grounds. The breakfast was nice, similar to most hotels of that range in variety and quality.

Cons:

The spa on Saturday evening was too busy. All three areas, the pool, steam room and sauna felt crowded, you had to wait for a moment that someone left, in order to go in. It would make sense to introduce time slots to control numbers of people.
