Very nice hotel if room had come up to our expectations
Pros:

Breakfast was good as was location

Cons:

We booked a deluxe room but this did not come up to expectations. In the photo on website it showed as walk in shower but it was over the bath. Room was small too.
No separate bar and not enough beds in spa.

Pros:

Convenient location for visiting Bletchley Park and local National Trust properties.
Very pleasant staff at reception and in the restaurants.
Good choice and well cooked food at breakfast.

Cons:

We had a deluxe room which I felt was equivalent to a pretty standard room elsewhere.
My only very trivial complaint was that the towels shedded white fluff which adhered to our skin and clothes!

Very friendly. comfortable.excellent selection on the breakfast
Pros:

Very friendly.good tea and coffee facilities.lovely plants at the front . lovely bedroom.shampoo and shower cream available in room.extra pillows.enough coat hangers.

Cons:

U need a nice bench outside the front of the hotel or some kind of seating area.i did notice people smoking at the front of the hotel shame there was cigarette buts in the plants u could do with more ashtrays.and sign areas for smoking. Also check in time was 3 o'clock but couldn't get room key till an hour later. Also most of the door mats where curled up on the corners very dangerous tripping hazard looked very tatty looking could do with replacing them all.

Good stay
Pros:

Great setting , nice lobby and entrance area. Rooms a little basic and dated. Generally a nice place, friendly restaurant staff and great breakfast

Cons:

I think the heating generator kicked in near my room at approx 6 am which woke me. Room 287. Would have been nice if staff asked how my stay was upon check out. Poor sound proofing to rooms as you can hear people walk past as the bed was so close to the door

An evening stay
Pros:

We had an excellent stay here for the evening, was convenient enough to get into central Milton Keynes without the busyness of it.

Reception was very welcoming with friendly staff who were more than professional at directing us to our room.

Massive bed and a really clean room.

Very nice breakfast with loads of choice.

The swimming pool and the gym facilities are convenient enough as well and was more than suitable for our stay.

Plenty of parking which felt safe to leave your car there without having to worry about coming back to car-park dent in your doors.

Cons:

Good food, nice entrance and initial entry areas, then deteriorates towards bedroom and in bedroom.
Pros:

The areas where the breakfast, reception, were, appeared really nice.

Cons:

When i got my room number and worked out where to go, I got further and further into the depths of the hotel, going down about three sets of stairs. The whole atmosphere of what I experienced when I first entered the hotel had shifted, from a nice first impression, when I walked down the narrow corridors and entered my room, I was disappointed. Small room, wires from TV everywhere, just looked untidy, dents and scratches on the bathroom door, and the block I was in, when you look out the window, looked like a prison building. It had nothing to link it yo Horwood House which in contrast looked lovely. I thought the hotel and my room would link to the appearance of that lovely house. It was vastly different.

Fantastic short stay in a great setting!
Pros:

Amazing grounds, courteous staff and great location (about 20 minutes from Silverstone) with a nice indoor pool with lockers for your valuables. Plenty of choice for breakfast but ate out for dinner although there were options at Horwood House. Would recommend!

Cons:

Dining choices could have been better but overall a fantastic stay and would happily come again!

Exceptional Service - above and beyond!
Pros:

I would especially like to thank Daria who went above and beyond to make my daughters birthday such a wonderful day. The food was also very, very good. Lots of us had the fish and chips and it was some of the best battered fish I've had. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. Rooms were good size and very clean.
Finally a huge thank you to all the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

Not applicable.
