How clean everything was including the spa
Very clostophobic and rooms very far away from the reception
The Breakfast is amazing! Actually, I booked this hotel many nights just for the breakfast. Rooms clean, bed confortable, nice location, quiet, big car park.
First night it took 20 minutes to find my room. Very bad signage with small black letters that can be barely seen from the distance, good luck in finding rooms starting with 104 etc... This place is like a maze. If there is a fire, I wonder how people would find the exit. After first night, got used to it. The next big issue, the dinner restaurant...dinner extremely expensive for the quality, tiny portions, £30 for a poor pub quality stake, or £7 for3 small pieces of simple bread that they call "Focaccia"... is is too much, not really worth it £60 for a dinner overall.. The restaurant looks amazing dough, and I liked the tiramisu. THe other restaurant where the breakfast is being served, 10 out of 10 for looks, service and breakfast quality. Therefore, my advice: eat the breakfast here, have the dinner somewhere else.
Location, grounds, staff were great
Unfortunately large confusion with the breakfast hours due to the morning being the 1st September this was quite a downer however they did do their best to accommodate which we can’t fault!!
Lace of a spa pool/ jacuzzi in the SPA which would finish it off amazingly!!
Comy kinsize bed and nice shower. Lots of parking and charging points.
Very long walk to room down 3 lots of stairs. I could also hear a lot of noise from next room as walls thin. Prices in resturant were high plus a service charge.

The view from the room into the courtyard area could have been made more interesting to compensate for the architecture.
Staff cope well under pressure! Breakfast is good quality and there is a reasonable choice. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Poor sound insulation between rooms - you can hear conversations quite clearly (my friend staying in another room said the same)
