Disappointing New Year’s Stay.
Pros:

We stayed New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day. We had the Bletchley Park package, highly recommend this visit. Unfortunately I don’t recommend this hotel.
Our courtyard room was very poor. No mirror in the bedroom and generally very poor fittings and fixtures, quite basic for the price.
The hotel in general was a let down. For a spa hotel I expected a nice welcoming bar area and separate restaurant/dining area. This wasn’t the case, the only area away from the dining room/area was in a corridor just off the restaurant that ran the length of the hotel.
Considering we were there New Year’s Eve there wasn’t anything “special” that had been put on. No entertainment or even background music. The restaurant, Harry’s Bar, was nothing special. The menu was not inspiring and quite ordinary. The whole hotel and restaurant had no atmosphere considering it was New Year’s Eve! A very disappointing stay.

Pleasant staff all around. Resturant staff very helpful and kind. However very dissapointed .
Pros:

Very good friendly staff in Resturant.

Cons:

I booked the venue especially fo the swimming pool and spa.
However when i arrived was told by reception Staff both ammenites were closed for repairs.. i had spoken to reception the day bf my stay also had several emails and no mention that the amenities would not be avalable.. The classic room was small not to my taste. No shower..The hotel stated all the other classic rooms were in use so could'nt offer a swap. So I had to upgrade an extra£25 to have a slightly spacious room with a view of the car park.

Would recommend to couples looking for a getaway!
Pros:

The location is really nice we enjoyed being completely surrounded by nature, although you definitely need a car to get there. The day staff were really lovely and helpful. We paid for towel swans and chocolate strawberries to be added to the room which was done so well and at a good price, would recommend! They have a giant chess board outside which was fun and the general facilities were all nice and clean. The spa had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were great- I had a lovely 25 minute facial treatment done.

Cons:

Whilst the spa was overall great and had a nice steam room and sauna, there was no jacuzzi which I didn't realise when booking, and the pool was a little bit cold for our personal taste. The room was slightly smaller than expected but we only booked the standard double room so wasn't a problem.

Amazing hotel
Pros:

We stayed with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter and had an absolutely wonderful experience.
Leading up to our visit, the communication with the hotel was incredibly detailed and accommodating. They took the time to answer our questions and offer helpful advice about their services and restaurant, which made us feel very reassured before arriving. Every member of staff we interacted with was respectful, informative, and genuinely kind.
Arriving at the hotel was a magical experience—it truly felt like stepping into a different world. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and the staff welcomed us warmly and guided us to the restaurant for afternoon tea. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and very comfortable.
The restaurant staff were especially friendly and welcoming. They took the time to talk with us and interact with us without ever making us feel rushed. We also had dinner there, and the meals were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.
We spent time at the swimming pool, which was well maintained and very relaxing. Our daughter especially loved it, and it was lovely to see how family-friendly the environment was.
Overall, our stay was amazing and we honestly cannot fault anything. We enjoyed our time here so much and are very grateful to all the staff who made us feel so welcome. Thank you all for such a memorable stay.
