Overall it was ok but did not like to talking to some guy/on screen when i arrived;very impersonal

Oops : mistake- below WHAT I DIDNT LIKE- CAN IMPROVE? IMHO
Staff were ok in attitude- when i took some coffee in lobby( up late bc pf fam crisis stuff- reason on trip) and asked if i could have some creamer , staff retrieved it , brought it out & quickly grabbed all coffee makers etc I stated: " oh i can't have more coffee"- & she , in blaise tone, said that it stopped coffee service at 10 am I wasnt aware as ive used Motel 6 all over calif since i lost my job AND alimony same yr & thus can not afford a mid price motel when seeing family in so cal( i moved to nor cal 25 plus yrs ago due to ex hubby's ITHosp Exec job) Though i sensed she was busy w / check outs 1) she could've been more ploite abt coffee serving time window2) it would've been nice if there was a large sign or reminder abt coffee serving time frame Point is , after yrs at motel 6 where i've honestly spent $10,000-15,000 since divorce) I was use to coffee being served most of day - esp when THERE IS NO SIMPLE BRKFST items like most lower -avg priced motels( ppl on a tight budget - esp single seniors like me- can NOT afford coffee out let alone breakfast Things could be more pleasant- is my summary

I liked the pool area, the flowers were nice and chaise lounges However as it was next to loud frwy it was a bit disconcerting I had sm cup of coffee there ( too cold for pool etc) but had to leave after 10 mins ; it was just too loud w / frwy noise

Pros:

The hotel looked nice from the outside it's in the pictures but would I arrived the power was off. Is obviously the front staff had no idea of what to do during an emergency like this. The explanation was it the power is out in the manager would not be on site the next day and that no people could be checked in. There's no generator running the staff for using a cell phone with with the flashlight that had no suggestions on how to remediate the issue.

Cons:

Hotel was out of power. That's not really an issue cuz that can happen anywhere however I've never been out of hotel that has lost power and never had a backup plan. Power is out for a couple hours before I even arrived it was obvious that nobody had an idea on how to proceed
