Since our hotel is located in the shopping district of Shinkyogoku-dori, it is not possible to come directly by car.
If you reach by a taxis, please get off near the entrance of Shinkyogoku-dori on the Shijo-dori side (about 1 minute on foot).
There is no parking lot, but please feel free to contact us as we will guide you to a nearby coin parking lot.

We love Tokyu Stay, and this is a great one
Pros:

I can only agree with other reviewers - this hotel has a brilliant location! It's very central, but also very peaceful. We had great nights of sleep here. The room size was fine, and it was such a bonus to have a great washing machine, plus a sink/fridge area in the room (and it did not feel like sleeping in a kitchen as some do).
I loved the spacious reception are with a huge table and comfortable chairs, plus free coffee (when it works) and sake tasting in the evening.

Cons:

Just a warning - the services listed as available were not quite as listed eg no clothers drying racks available (so frustrating not to have a line in the bathroom!) and you have to pay for your room to be cleaned if you are not staying there for a whole week.
Another warning - the restaurants listed as close by are TikTok famous (apparently) and there are always queues! However, we went to Kyoto Engine and it was worth the short wait.

Experience of a boutique hotel with ridiculously convenient location. It’s as best as it can get
Pros:

Location, location, location. Incredibly convenient, close to shops and restaurants in the artsy/fashion streets. Also close to the tourist areas, but not in it so very silent. Ideal for visiting. Room has laundry machine which was incredibly convenient for me.

Perfect location, clean and spacious
Pros:

Clean big rooms. Coffee machine in lobby. Free wine/sake 1-9pm. Free water in room daily.

Perfect location for evening and also transport links. Train across the road took us straight to Osaka

Pros:

We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Kyoto! The location is fantastic-just steps from train stations, shopping, Nishiki Market, restaurants, and many historic sites. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming.
We also loved the thoughtful amenities like provided toiletries, slippers, and pajamas. Having a washing machine in the room was such a convenient bonus!

I loved this location, the convenience of having access to 3 street markets was amazing
Pros:

Big Room, Western table, TV, Laundry, toiletries, everything was perfect. You even had access to your own cooking station in the room if you wanted to bring some food back. I loved every day I stayed here at this hotel, and in this city. Best thing was outside of the lobby you had Shinkyogoku, Teramachi, and Nishiki Market. All of your eating and shopping at your fingertips.
