The position was fabulous, staff amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Short walk to both the port & turtle point. Plenty of places to eat.

We were recommended to stay here by friends who come to Bale Sampan every year and we thought you can’t get a better endorsement than that! We originally booked for 4 nights and ended up staying for 4 weeks as we absolutely loved it here. Our room was really lovely, very quiet and peaceful and spotlessly clean. It had been recently renovated and was well thought out with everything we needed. The bed was large and comfy and the linen and towels were also always spotlessly clean. We loved the water outside the door to wash off our sandy feet. The staff kindly acknowledged our tea and coffee preferences and kept up a steady supply of our favourites! As others have said the food here is indeed excellent. Our breakfasts, which were included, were amazing, the best we’ve ever had anywhere, so inventive and delicious and lots of choice which is important when staying for a month! We loved having them in the dining area on the beach watching the boats come and go - very special. Their restaurant ‘Taste’ serves delicious food all day long and is very popular, with good reason, with guests and walk-ins alike. We enjoyed some really lovely dinners too. The location of the bungalows is great, nice and quiet but still really close to everything . We regularly walked or cycled our way around the island. The pool is lovely, nicely shaded at times and large enough to do laps and there is ‘fall in the water’ snorkelling right outside the front. No need to go out in a boat if you don’t want to. We swam every morning before breakfast. The water is so clear and we regularly saw a couple of large resident turtles, masses of fish and large coral bommies. Last but definitely not least a huge shout out to all the staff who were very welcoming, friendly and helpful - we became very fond of them during our stay.

This place is amazing. The location is perfect, the staff are super friendly and the rooms are beautiful - clean and comfy. The breakfast included was a highlight for us, it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had on our travels. We would stay here over and over again!

We loved our stay at this hotel. The decoration and furniture in the the rooms are new and clean, the pool is nestled beautifully into the garden, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is stylish and serves delicious fresh meals and drinks, don't miss your opportunity for having breakfast here! The beach with private sun beds is right across the street, reachable within a few steps. The communication with the manager was clear and welcoming. Oh and we loved the little black and white cat :)

Wir können einen Aufenthalt im Bale Sampan nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Zimmer sowie die Lage waren perfekt. Beim Frühstück gab es eine tolle Auswahl und alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Location could not be better right across from the beach where they have their own lounge, chairs, umbrellas.

Everything was amazing. Every little detail of the accommodation was perfect. The bungalow was so well thought through, you even had a bucket with water to clean your feet before entering the bungalow. There was repellent and some Moskito devices to keep them away - when I came back to the bungalow in the afternoon the mosquito device was lit on my terrace. So well thought through to avoid being attacked by mosquitos. They had a little mini bar so you could have any drinks you’d like for a super super cheap price. Also all of the staff has been incredible friendly and genuinely made sure that every part of my stay was perfect. Also the manager of the resort (sorry I forgot your name) kept checking in to make sure everything is alright. The restaurant belonging to the hotel „taste“ has amazing food and drinks and the included breakfast was perfect. I would recommend 100000%. I also rented a bike with them which was super easy and super cheap. And I got my laundry done - super quick super good service.

I chose this place because of the great reviews, but even those don’t do justice. The location is unbeatable (very close to the port), the facilities are perfectly clean and well maintained, the room is a dream, the food is delicious, and the staff’s service is exceptional. I can’t recommend them enough.
