For guests staying 7 nights or more, rooms are cleaned once a week only in addition to the cleaning services same as guests who stay 6 nights or less.

Great place to stay in Takayama.
Pros:

Loved it - good room, free onsen, location worked really well for day trips, breakfast included, washing machine / dryer in the room was very convenient (it was out of sight, and it worked without the room key so could be used when not in room).

Cons:

Nothing. If being picky, breakfast could’ve been slightly earlier, although starting at 7am worked well for us. (Loads of Japanese options for breakfast and although there were fewer ‘Western’ options, it’s Japan, that’s how it should be, so no complaints!)

Overall, this is a very nice hotel. I will go back again for sure.
Pros:

The location was perfect, right next to the Takayama Train Station, literally next door. If you drive, the hotel has limited parking lots but otherwise, very convenient. Every level has a theme, very thoughtful in the design and very beautiful. We love the convenience of a washing machine cum dryer in our rooms. We enjoyed the foot spa, went there every night! My teenage children visited the hot bath everyday and they loved it. The street outside is quiet at night. It is a short walk to nearby eateries and convenience mart. We chanced upon a very small ramen shop and after queuing in the cold for 15 mins, got a table and the ramen was delicious! You can basically walk to everywhere in Takayama because the city is relatively small. We made the mistake of driving to Sanmachi Suji, the parking there is really expensive. The next day, we took a nice stroll back to the old Takayama streets, very nice Hida beef and sake to try out.
