Went for a 4-day skiing trip and had a really nice quiet and comfortable relaxing time.
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay - place looks amazing, view from the room was stunning (huge windows and view from bed on the mountains). Early check-in possible and each evening we were asked about the time we preferred for breakfast (super-nice selection of pastries and muesli+dried fruit, everything freshly made), coffee machine in the lobby was accessible 24/7.

Gutes Frühstück, Abendessen in der dazugehörigen Sagibeiz sehr gut, Zimmer für Familien ganz gut geeignet (schmales Doppelbett, vielleicht besser für kleinere Kinder).

Cons:

Wir hatten das Hotel gewählt weil es eine Sauna/Wellnessbereich hat. Bei Ankunft wurden wir informiert, dass die Sauna a) vorreserviert werden muss und b) die Benutzung 180 CHF zusätzlich kostet. Das war eine echte Enttäuschung und stellt aus meiner Sicht ein gewisses "false advertising" (auch auf der Hotelwebsite wird suggeriert, dass die Sauna Hotelgästen zur Verfügung steht).

Modernes Gebäude in ruhiger Lage. Guter Anschluss an die Gongelbahn zum Tannenboden (z.B. 5 Min mit dem Auto oder auch mit der Bahn)

Besonderes Hotel mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre
Pros:

Ein wirklich besonderes Hotel, das Loftzimmer mit Seeblick ist originell gestaltet, bequeme Betten und alles sehr sauber! Der Blick auf den See und die Berge im Hintergrund ist toll!
Das Personal ist super nett, das Frühstück ist sehr gut mit sogar ein paar regionalen Spezialitäten. Kein grosses Buffet, aber es ist ja auch kein so grosses Hotel.
Das Gym ist sehr gut ausgestattet, nur ein Ergometer fehlt.
Die Bahnstrecke ist nah, und man hört die Züge bei offener Balkontür natürlich - uns hat das nicht gestört.
Und auch wenn die Gebühr für einen Hund recht hoch ist, ist das Hotel sehr hundefreundlich.
Das gesamte Konzept ist schlüssig, und kompromisslos gut umgesetzt.

Nice hotel within easy reach for Flumserberg on public transport
Pros:

The Lofthotel is a perfect location for a short ski trip to Flumserberg. The gondola at Unterterzen is easily reached by a short train or bus trip. The main hotel rooms are nicely designed and roomy for 1 adult and 2 children, or 2 adults and 1 child. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is perfectly adequate. The New Years Day breakfast was especially good.

Cons:

We were advised on arrival that the coffee and hot chocolate machine was free for guests. We later found out that this was only the case for breakfast and that we must pay the rest of the time. It's a shame this wasn't made clear at the start.
