Pros:

Could not get any better for location since you are literally on top of Kyoto station meaning there is minimal walking after getting off Shinkansen. There are also a ton of shopping and Aeon mall is just across the street.

Pros:

The hotel is accessible directly from the Railway and the Shinkansen station.
The rooms are cleaned efficiently and on time.

Cons:

Terrible check-in experience, my reservation couldn't be found under my name, I had to dig up Booking's reference number. Luckily the automated check-out works fine.
Room was small, even for 1 person.
Breakfast was more of the local kind, no international choices and no fruit
Wi-fi was terrible on the 7th floor
There is some noise from the train tracks.

Pros:

The room was big and so was the bathroom. The staff were amazing and the exit of the hotel is located close the the sinkansen. Our room was on the 7 floor and we didn't hear any noise from the train station itself. Overall it was a good experience.
