hotel was great for what we needed
Pros:

breakfast very good if you want to pay more. the standard breakfast was ok

Cons:

booked a room with a terrace. it was tiny with 2 chairs on the ground floor. the 4 walls going up 4 levels. more like somewhere you get sent as a punishment. definitely don't go for rooms with a terrace on the ground floor.
would have liked a kettle in the room as going up the 4 flights of stairs then along to the kitchen for hot water was a little annoying. fridge and basic kitchen all there....No Kettle! seems mad to me.

Wonderful stay - great staff - great location in the midle of Condesa
Pros:

Its location in the heart of condesa, the charm of the building, the quietness, roof terrace with breakfast

Cons:

Bathroom was really very small. Just a shower with a toilet squeezed behind the door. Not for big people . Would have preferred room on a higher floor with more light.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück in zentraler Lage
Pros:

Das Zimmer war schön und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück auf der schönen Dachterrasse war toll. Auch sehr gute Lage nahe der Avenida Amsterdam. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Obwohl das Hotel in einer sehr ruhigen Straße liegt, war es nachts recht laut, weil die Räumlichkeiten sehr hellhörig sind. Die ganze Nacht gab es Geräusche im Treppenhaus oder auf der Dachterrasse (unser Zimmer lag im 4. Stock direkt darunter).

Stay during end of February
Pros:

A nice art deco building a littld bit hidden.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
We had room 205, junior suite. It has two rooms, one room for luggage and one bedroom. The bedroom is almost full with the bed. The bedroom was very quiet. The suite has no windows to the street, it has windows to a quiet space. The room can be made nicely dark for sleeping.
The bathroom with quite large shower was very nice.
Please be aware that the breakfast is served on the rooftop (4th floor) with no elevator. For us it was nice, but if you have any medical condition please check.
Please also consider that the hotel is not having full size air conditioning installed. There are supplemenary heaters and ventilators available in the room, but we didn't have to use them.

Mixed bag! Location is great, staff mildly friendly, rooms are very dark, and not sound proof.
Pros:

Rooftop terrace, room design, location of hotel is great.

Cons:

Lack of daylight in rooms below roof level; lack of sound proofing.
Our room was not avail at checkin time, but still we were asked to pay extra fees for checking out 45 min later than the official time.

Great location and spacious clean comfortable room in Condesa.
Pros:

The location in Condesa was walking distance to many great restaurants, cafes and bars and felt very safe. The room was spacious, clean and had a great shower with plenty of hot water. Offered a light breakfast with a coffee machine, juice, yogurt and bread. 24h security at the door.

Cons:

Minor shortcomings - sound travelled easily between rooms, they offered filtered water but I think it still gave me GI trouble, would buy bottled in future.

Pros:

Lo mejor fue una combinación de todo! Ubicación excelente, servicio excelente, desayuno incluido, decoración hermosa! Lo que más me gustó fue tener acceso a la roof en la noche con servicio de cafe y thé. Pasamos un rato agradable en los columpios disfrutando el espacio! Recomiendo Casa Decu un 100%.

A spacious and clean place to stay in a beautiful, old Art Deco building in a lovely neighborhood
Pros:

Beautiful building, great location, lovely and helpful staff! The room was actually more like a small apartment with a living room and kitchenette with a table that could seat 4. The bedroom was a great size with an attached bathroom. We also had a little outdoor courtyard. Great water pressure! Breakfast is available on the roof (fourth floor), and that was a lovely setting. The continental breakfast was free (the usual- granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread), but you can also order cooked breakfasts for a reasonable price. Desk service is available 24/7, and the all the staff were super friendly and helpful. They booked us a car to the airport at 6:30am with no issue, and you can pay the hotel directly.

Cons:

Read carefully- this hotel doesn't not have heat or A/C, but they do provide a space heater and a fan. We traveled during the winter and while it wasn't super cold, it was cold enough to use the space heater which was effective. The floors are tile so be prepared for cold feet unless you travel with slippers. The biggest issue was sound- because it's an older building and because of the lovely little courtyards sound carries a bit too effectively. So, it's easy to hear people above you using their bathrooms and having conversations. We were lucky- while we were there, no one was being rude or super loud, but sound DOES carry.

Pros:

La ubicación del hotel es buena y también la amabilidad de todas las personas que nos atendieron durante nuestra estancia.

Cons:

Nos quedamos en una de las suites, en la que se sentía un fuerte olor de baño. La cama era demasiado blanda y a las 5 de la mañana empezaban a mover cosas en la terraza (que nos quedaba justo encima), por lo que se acababa el descanso. La iluminación también es mejorable.
