Lovely short break , great warm pool and spa facilities
Nothing
Fantastic stay and staff, couldn't have been more helpful
Nothing
The staff were all lovely. The food was great and good value, the location was perfect for all the sites and attractions. However, we had a few hiccups with our room but we advised the reception and they sorted the problems and even offered us an upgrade but we decided we were happy with the room so declined their offer. Spa facilities were very good
Paying for parking. Nowhere to sit outside and the weather was lovely so we had to walk to the nearest pub garden.
Well organised - very helpful friendly staff. Rooms really clean, restaurants very good and reasonable prices .
Very little - perhaps a limited breakfast with very little fresh fruit and no menu for specialities (and porridge!)
It’s very clean and nicely decorated
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
Central, clean and very friendly.
The coffee at breakfast but a minor issue.
That we had access for the pool etc.
It was very dirty, our bathroom so very dusty. The toilets by the bar were dirty and needed re painting. The staff were very slow and forgot about us a few times
Went for a spa day for my friends birthday, the experience was incredible, a Tuesday so it was so quiet, only a few other people in and around, all of whom were really friendly and said the same thing about the spa, the changing room could do with being bigger as at one time there were 6 of us in there but that just shows it’s popular, there was a lovely helpful young girl called Lily who was cleaning the changing area and the pool area that we spoke to when we were in the hot tub, she was very hardworking, polite and kind..
I booked my treatments via Amy who did a wonderful job getting mine and my friends treatments booked in at the same time which was lovely..
I had a full body massage with a lady called kinga, who was sensational, she listened to what I wanted and the massage was so good I think I might have fallen asleep. I will definitely be booking in with her in future..
We had lunch in the bar which was very quick and really good value..
The whole day was so lovely and chilled..didn’t stay as we live in Winchester but will definitely return for another spa day very soon..
Only downfall is I wish they did a Japanese head spa, an in depth foot treatment or reflexology as I’d love to have them there instead of going to another spa..
Bar and restaurant were excellent.
Staff were exceptionally good
Little more attention to detail on cleanliness. Just small things.
Would have preferred fresh made pot of tea at breakfast rather than self service.
Easy to find. Lovely staff. Quiet. Very comfortable bed and room
No issues with anything
We had a fantastic stay, from the minute we walked in, reception was great, room was fantastic, service amazing, breakfast was very good as well, Marina, Katya and Ava were so polite and welcoming, based on the excellent service we received, we will definitely return
Very clean ,great value for money
A nice hotel, central to Winchester
The first night the room was too hot and we found we were unable to control it. It was sorted for the next night.
Location is great for visiting and accessing Winchester, lots of lovely shops, bars and Restaurants.
Breakfast was of good quality, however very limited options if you have a dietary requirement or do not eat meat/ pork.
Products in rooms for shower/ sink of good quality.
Nice sized towels for the shower.
Room was very dusty, looked as if the bed had been changed but nothing else
Had an ongoing issue with our toilet constantly flushing. Raised this as a complaint 3 times, ended up having an awful and disrupted night sleep from it as was not repaired properly. No apology or room move for this, yet another room had an issue with their room in the reception at the same time and got moved, and free drinks vouchers.
We booked treatments in the spa, and were using the facilities afterwards. We were not offered, let alone given robes yet every other person was. The spa floor was absolutely soaking wet where it had not been checked by staff and the water pushed down drains, nearly fell over. Overall a really disappointing stay. Staff were quite rude about this when we raised the issue, ended up leaving the facilities.
Property refurbished very well, rooms generous and comfortable with a large en suite shower.
We ate in the hotel for dinner which was well presented, tasty and a good proportion size.
Breakfast was well presented with attentive staff, the reason we felt we could only give a nine, was that the hot breakfast needed to be refreshed as both the sausages and the scrambled egg were like warm. If this could be rectified I am sure that we would have given it 10.
Great stay, nice location, lovely personnel: we will definitely come back!
