Fantastic breakfast buffet with many choices. Excellent location - walk to Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, the Castle and the Museum of Art (which was full of impressionist artwork). My room had a view of the art museum and castle. Close to tram and bus station. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area.
Room furniture was a bit outdated; could use a refresh, but it did not take away from my stay or experience there. There was a radio built into the wall next to the bed, which was probably a very high tech feature many years ago - it was very retro. There was a fee to use the pool and gym, so I didn't use them, but that seemed common among many hotels I stayed at throughout Japan.
Location
Breakfast set up was difficult to navigate
Location was excellent. Great view of city from top floor resturant- great place for a late night relax drink. Easy access to Hiroshima Station and downtown by tram. Walking to museums, shrines and back/side street food great.
We loved staying here. Our room was extremely comfortable and the view over the city was simply stunning. Fantastic location, within very easy walking distance to all the major memorial sites. The hotel is also right next to the castle and the Arts Museum. We had a cocktail every evening overlooking all the lights - highly recommended, especially as you get 10% off as a resident. Try to go to the right as you enter the bar - it's much nicer for a drink. Food also looked nice but we preferred to go Japanese outside of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious; the cream puffs and egg custards, whilst I admit not being normal breakfast fare, were divine!!
This is a vast hotel! I agree with other travellers that it feels a little dated (the check-in process was certainly the longest we experienced) but it really does not detract too much.
I love an onsen, or a swimming pool, but could not tell what was actually available and suspect it would have been an extra charge?
You have to remember to hang the right card on the door to your room to get any kind of service. This was quite common in all our hotels, but still a little frustrating.
Great location close to peace park, castle, food and shopping. Close to river boat that will take you to Itsukushima island. The hotel is very nice, huge, lots of floors not related to the hotel itself. The pool is separate. Great views. Helpful staff. Breakfast was great.
I couldn’t find a gym or onsen at the hotel itself. Maybe there is one but I don’t think so.

Excellent location, a short walk from the Atomic Bomb Dome, the peace park etc. Also close to the bus station, and a tram stop to take you to Miyajima. Excellent breakfast, with freshly made eggs, bacon, croissants, but also loads of Japanese food to try.
