Beautiful stay!
Pros:

Beautiful spot nestled away in the hills with a beautiful view of tabletop from our room. It was a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Cape Town during our stay there without going to far (it was about a twenty minute trip from the waterfront). Huge room, great breakfast and AMAZING night sky viewing.

Cons:

Nothing!

Pros:

Es war sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr großzügig. Es war sehr ruhig. Die Anlage war super. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Cons:

Es war ein bisschen außerhalb, aber mit dem Auto oder einem Uber gut erreichbar.

Guest house in Hout-Bay

Schönes Design. Geeignet hauptsächlich für Eltern mit Kindern.

Cons:

Personal, im speziellen Managerin war äusserst unfreundlich und unprofessionell! Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem Zimmer. Die Managerin war nicht offen für unser Anliegen und hat kurzerhand den Hörer aufgelegt. Als sie erneut angerufen wurde hat sie dies erneut gemacht. Unser Zimmer lag direkt zum Parkplatz, ohne jegliche Privatsphäre. Wir mussten das Frühstück am Vorabend für eine bestimmte Uhrzeit bestellen. Am Morgen mussten wir dann trotzdem 20 Minuten warten. Zur bestellten Omelette gab es 1 Stück Toast. Butter musste separat bestellt werden. Dazu sollte es ein Buffet geben. Dieses sah Erbärmlich aus (siehe Bild).

Prachtig, maar het geheel mist ziel en warmte qua gastvrijheid.
Pros:

Het resort is prachtig. Ook qua liging en uitzicht. Nog vrij nieuw.

Cons:

Het ontvangst, het personeel..en het geheel miste warmte een ziel.
Er was een grote zaal, die mooi is ingericht, maar toch erg hol klonk.
Tip..zet er een paar grote plantenbin, een roomdivider en maak het adults only. Zet er een warme manager in die het de gasten echt naar hun zin maakt. En de mensen bij naam kent. Een kleine bar, en snacks zal meer levendigheid geven..het heeft enorm veel potentie nml. Jammer maar voor ons was het voor nu 1 malig. We kregen ook helaas een kamer die uitkeek op de oprit waardoor er weinig privacy ontstond, en we moesten zacht doen voor de spa na ons..jammer.

Beautiful
Pros:

This place is so peaceful. Beautiful location, lovely pool, wonderful staff and a very generous breakfast. We only managed to stay one night sadly, but would love to come back in the future.

Cons:

Everything was perfect except one minor point - the rooms were too hot. There is no AC and our room didn't have any fans. As such, sleep could have been a bit better.

Stunning place with beautiful design and very professional staff.
Pros:

Stunning place, we loved our stay here and wish we had booked for longer. The staff are very helpful and professional. The rooms are designed beautifully and there is a peaceful vibe at the hotel. Easy access to the southern suburbs and camps bay. We recommend driving and it’s a very safe area.

We komen hier steeds weer terug!
Pros:

Het is heerlijk om hier te verblijven. Het is rustig, je hebt een mooi uitzicht. De kamers zijn fijn. Het ontbijt maakt dat je lang blijft zitten. Het zwembad is niet al te groot,maar heerlijk om af te koelen.

Beautiful award winning gem. Very peaceful and refreshing!
Pros:

This hotel is soooo charming, and is so underrated. The photos do not give it justice. It has won architectural awards for the design, and it is beyond beautiful. The details, the spacious room, the communal areas, everything was spectacular. The whole team were great, and very helpful especialliay Suzie, who took time to explain everything in the hotel, the area and beyond! Such a lovely lady. The rooms were very big, very charming, and the views are beautiful. The pool area, and parking on site are also wonderful. Will surely recommend to others, and stay there again. The bathroom was also beautiful, spacious, and with a big window with an amazing view. They also offered me early check in. They were just so nice! I wish I stayed for longer.

Cons:

Breakfast ordering is a bit complicated, and you have to fill out a paper, which cheapens the feel a bit. The room did not have air-conditioning.

A perfect stay above Hout Bay
Pros:

Set above Hout Bay this is the perfect escape. The surrounding views are dramatic and spectacular! We were greeted by Derek who gave us a lovely welcome. Umoya Residence is set on a mountain slope so the views from each apartment may vary, ours (Cinamon) was expansive over the bay and mountains. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, every detail has been considered with great storage, tea making facilities at the right height (!) and so much light and space. The apartment was immaculate including the bathroom which had great products and lovely natural touches. Breakfast is ordered the night before, it was perfectly cooked. A wonderful selection of nuts,seeds and honey as well as other breakfast items. The staff was attentive and friendly. All in all a great stay and very good value. There is also a wonderful swimming pool which was very peaceful.

Cons:

No air conditioning but a fan was provided. There was a huge window which opened fully so air circulation was not an issue.
