Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, a local government fee of MYR 2 per room per night will be imposed. This is payable directly to the hotel upon check in.
For reservations of more than 3 rooms, guests are required by the property to pay 100% of the first night for each room upon making a booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Hotel was recommended by a friend and we're very grateful to him.
Pros:

Location couldn't be better. Chulia Street leads straight to Little India and the World Heritage Site.
There's a very good night food street market one block away. Staff were most obliging, advising us on the cheapest airport taxi to get.

Cons:

Just that we couldn't get any foreign news program (eg BBC) on the room TV. The roof bar was closed for renovations.

Overall all it was fine for the reasonable costs, especially as I was out most of the day.
Pros:

Large room and staff were very helpful and friendly. Liked the water dispensers on each floor, especially the cold. Good location and nice bar on the roof. Spacious bathroom. Quiet despite being next door to a mosque with early morning prayer calls

Cons:

The hotel and rooms need a refurb - very scruffy and dated furnishings, paintwork. Need more outlets in room - one of mine stopped working.

酒店的毛巾和浴巾都有破洞了，酒店应该换一批了啊，没有床头灯，晚上起夜差点摔倒。浴室的热水器开启的时候，可能因为电压的原因，房间的灯会一直闪烁，我差点以为会断电

Honest speaking, this is the worst hotel that i have staying after visiting so many country.

1. Dirty wall full of spider web, 2. Slippery toilet floor looks like never clean with brushes, 3. Cockroach smell on our first day near the lift, 4. Smelly bed sheet, 5. Uncomfortable bed.

Amazing location, clean, sleek and comfy rooms
Pros:

Rooms were modern and had really handy amenities, kettle, mini fridge, access to cold and hot drinking water in the corridor as well as iron and ironing board available. My bed was huge and almost too comfortable 😅 bathroom was clean modern and well equipped too.
A host of restaurants and bars just a minute or so away, as well as small supermarkets for anything you need.

Cons:

There is a rooftop cocktail bar which is a separate or sister company running it - quite expensive cocktails and no one was ever there which I thought was a waste! Would be a perfect addition to have the rooftop as part of the hotel with basic meals and basic alcohol and soft drinks, especially as no outdoor area or actual communal in the hotel otherwise.
Also one small elevator between all floors so you can sometimes be stuck waiting (not the end of the world)
All in all enjoyed my stay!
