Lovely room with charming details and furniture. Windows opened onto a lovely courtyard. Coffee and tea available around the clock, but breakfast was not including. The rooftop library and balcony were wonderful.
Warmly greeted on arrival and upgraded which was a lovely surprise. Room was spacious, supplied with water and toiletries and really fluffy towels! Complimentary tea/coffee/cakes in the dining area downstairs but no facilities in the room for hot drinks.
Was a bit warm and aircon didn't work but we could open the window. Wasn't very close to bars and restaurants, about a 20-30 min walk or taxi/train ride away.

Great hotel in a great location and all the staff were excellent , friendly and helpful.

Nothing
Well located and clean
Romantico !!!
Everything was great
Lovely comfortable boutique hotel in a nice quiet area, plenty of choice at breakfast all very tasty, all the staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and as an added bonus there’s the library which is a lovely place to spend time, and not many hotels offer complimentary hot drinks, port and pastries including Nata’s throughout the day and night
Small and quaint, lovely friendly attentive staff, breakfast is varied and tasty, rooms are classic rather than corporate , the tea and cake throughout the day is a lovely touch, although the location is not central it’s in a lovely area, with the bonus of being less than a ten minute walk from the second and third top rated restaurants on trip advisor, both of which deserve their ratings (come prima and Frade dos mares)
The room was quite warm due to a spell of warm weather and pre A/C season, the staff provided a cooler which did help
La situation de l’hôtel et son charme, son petit déjeuner
We had a fantastic stay at theis beautiful hotel. Despite the Scottish weather our stay was made so memorable by the the lovely Portuguese people in general but the hotel staff in particular. Everyone was so kind & helpful. I even had an amazing rescue on the morning of my departure by the night receptionist who called the taxi firm to locate my shoulder bag containing my passport & wallet which I had left in the taxi. What a lifesaver. I am incredibly grateful to staff for their help which enabled me to catch the flight.
However more generally, a big thank you from my partner and myself for a wonderful stay. Our room was gorgeous & all the facilities were excellent. Such a beautiful laid back atmosphere. We loved the hotel but most importantly all of the the kind, friendly staff. You made our stay very memorable. We are already considering when to return. The atmosphere had a huge effect on us. So much so that I proposed to my partner on return to Scotland. Now that is special! Robert.
Wonderful hotel for an off season break in rainy Lisbon, warm and inviting. Historic and charming. Wonderful staff. Lovely hotel to just be quiet and read, have a coffee or a pastry at any time of day. Great restaurants in walking distance and not far to walk to the centre. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.
This is a beautiful old hotel, with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, gorgeous friendly staff and the lost lovely library! It is situated within walking distance of the town centre and right on a bus route. It had a homely, old feel and there was port wine, tea, coffee and cake available 24/7! :)
