Good value but would only recommend for short stays.
Pros:

Karaksa hotel is in the heart of Dotonbori. It's location is fabulous as everything is right outside the hotel and it's close to metro stations for easy traveling. Room was clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a good hotel for short stays.

Cons:

The room is very small with no storage for anything. We had 3 suitcases and they took up all of the hallway space, as there is nowhere else to put them. There is no closet. It would have been smart to make the beds taller so that there was under the bed storage for suitcases. Additionally, the room is hot and stuffy. The AC only goes to 20C and does not cool the room sufficiently. So it was quite warm and uncomfortable to sleep in.

this will be our home base when visiting OSAKA namba area
Pros:

This is our 2nd year in a row, this time we brought friends and family and we absolutely love the rooms, breakfast buffetm price, and location. Will be coming back again for the third time in '27, i booked a total of 4 rooms, including the connecting joint rooms.

Pros:

Location is excellent! Close to everything! Staff are nice and helpful. The 24/7 access to coffee and water is awesome!!

Very enjoyable and walking distance to shops and restaurants. 7mins to metro stations
Pros:

Excellent location with many restaurants across the street. Two blocks from main road of Mido-suji. Very near shopping mall of Shinsaibashi. Enjoyed Taiko show UTAGE next door to Osaka Aquarium.High energy and so much fun!

Pros:

Service, location, everything else except the dark room was very good

Cons:

Frozen windows (not visible) made the room very dark and it felt almost like a room with no daylight. Compared with all other rooms in the same price range during my 3 week trip through Japan this dark room was a bit of a disappointment.

Tiny hotel in great location
Pros:

Great location, friendly helpful staff and I liked the amenities and coffee machine in the lobby. The izayaka a couple of storefronts down was very good and cheap.

Cons:

Room was tiny and had dusty areas. The toilet room had a sink but no soap, the regular sink was in the shower room. Probably Japanese style but didn't work well.
