Excellent, friendly hotel!
Pros:

This was our fourth stay at The California! It’s always our go to when needing to spend a night in London! Close to Kings Cross station, lovely friendly staff and really comfy beds!

Pros:

Location was great and staff were very friendly and helpful, bed was very comfy too

Cons:

Was on bottom floor an the tube line below was very loud at times. The fire alarm went off at 8/8:30 both mornings of our stay disturbing our sleep.

I highly recommend this place.
Pros:

The location was excellent, across the road from St. Pancras station. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and very near my office.

Cons:

There was no elevator but it was fine since my bag wasn't that heavy.

Pros:

Très proche de la gare, situation idéale pour se rendre dans différents lieux touristiques.
La réception est très agréable et accueillante. Un vrai plaisir de communiquer avec elle.

Cons:

Le lit n'était pas assez ferme.
La chambre se trouvait un peu trop haut sans ascenseur et les escaliers un peu étroits

Excellent location for St Pancras and Eurostar. Fine for 1 night.

Cons:

Kettle was broken, room was exceptionally hot, stair carpet pretty threadbare. Generally looked a bit tired in the bedroom area.

Cons:

The Windows in the room and the bathroom cannot be open for security reasons. I have asked to open for some fresh air at least once a day and they said no. Not even by their staff. They replied we could use air conditioning which is not fresh air. So it was not good to sleep that way
