The place is accessible, literally just along the access road. Check in is fast, no deposit fee required as long as you leave a valid ID.
The internet becomes unreliable/unstable at night. No cable channels (a digital tv box only with one channel available). AC unit takes time to lower the temperature.

Shower is good. Warm water in a cheap hotel in the Philippines is great. However the gas hot water system here cycles from too cold to too hot and back. Probably would be OK in summer though.

Room and Linents are clean. Staffs are helpful
TV is not working properly, remote controllers are not working, even if you manually change the chanell through the buttons. Shower Heater is not functioning as well

The couple kids who were assigned to run day to day operations in this hotel were certainly friendly to me, but nonetheless passive and unaccommodating when it comes to simple requests. Usually I’m not the complaining type. Also I understand that the staff in the hotel get paid very low salaries, which probably has a demotivating effect on them. That being said, Reddoorz is a large chain of hotels. They should manage this subsidiary a LOT better. Some points during my stay were so unprofessional that i have no other choice than to write this negative review. Also, 1200 peso per night is certainly an affordable price, especially for foreigners, but I stayed at far better places at far better locations in the Philippines for less.
- Staff doesn’t reply to messages at all
- Staff do their necessary chores and then sit around watching youtube on quite high volume most of the day
- Very small room with very small windows
- No water in room
- No toilet paper in room
- No toilet paper available at reception neither… first time experiencing this in my life in Asia or anywhere else
- Noisy street (not hotels fault, of course)
- Noisy AC unit
- Wifi does not work in room, only downstairs in lobby
- Water in shower switches from hot to cold all the time
- No place or furniture at all in the room to put away clothes and belongings
- I wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. This was not possible because the hotel was supposedly fully booked… but I hardly saw anyone there during the 5 nights I stayed except for the staff
- What I disliked most is that my room has not been cleaned once during my 5 nights stay. Same sheets. Same dirty towels on the floor. Same full trash can.
