Comfortable stay in English countryside
Pros:

Convenient for breaking a journey, just off the A1, but with the lovely views and attractive surrounding villages would also be good for a short break or golf experience.An excellent breakfast was cheerfully served.

Enjoyed our family stay, attention to detail would improve expectations.
Pros:

Quiet location, all on one level, close to A1, Stamford/ Rutland Water.

Cons:

Feel that the bathroom requires updating. Shower curtain allows water to penetrate, needs replacing.
Sponge / more J-cloths in kitchen + kitchen towel would be helpful. Kitchen tap requires attention, difficult to turn off/ water sprays not pours down.

Ok, but disappointed with the condition of the bathroom
Pros:

Location was good
Room was a good size
EV charging facility available

Cons:

The bathroom let the accommodation down . Grubby grout caused by mildew on the tiles around the shower/ bath . Similar problem on bathroom floor. Plastic shower curtains should be a thing of the past as not very hygienic .

Beautiful hotel but taxis to the hotel non existent

Pros:

Rooms spacious.

Cons:

No info in rooms about local area or even the hotel.
The breakfast wasn't replenished after the golfing groups had gone.
In all honesty it's a golfing society hotel, doesn't suit the tourist. A bit boring.
