Poor room checks
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

House keeping is poor.
TV remote not working
Portable Fan in the room thick in dust
Stains on carpets
And kettle in room already had water in it and didn’t work at all.

Good place to stop overnight
Pros:

Very good location for a break from travelling to the North. The room was huge - plenty of space - and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, variety of choice and well cooked buffet. Looking out over the golf course while eating was very pleasant.
Staff were lovely - very helpful in sorting out a problem for us during our evening meal in the bar.

Very enjoyable and lovely surroundings
Pros:

Wonderful location especially during a heatwave

Cons:

The hotel hosts functions so it was hard to sleep before 11pm because of loud music on the first night of our stay

Would not stay again. The place needs a good refresh & service needs improvement
Cons:

The property looked tired and not as clean as I expected. Noisy neighbours !
The service & food quality in the pulse restaurant were very poor. Waited 45 mins for our early dinner to be served. Hence did not use the place for breakfast next morning.

C'etait un hotel d'etape

Cons:

Pas de climatisation et impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres. Il faisait extrêmement chaud dans la chambre du a la canicule. Tres mauvaise nuit et surtout claustrophobie dans la chambre du au manque d'air. Ils ont fourni un petit ventilateur très insuffisant au vue de la taille de la chambre

Great location and staff, dinner not so good.
Pros:

Great location, I had a room overlooking the golf course. Room was a great size and comfortable. I enjoyed the ground coffee bags in the room, so much better than the usual coffee packets. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful, cannot fault them in any way. Good breakfast.

Cons:

The restaurant for dinner wasn’t so good. Menu looked great but the food I chose fell short of quality expectations and the price. It may have been my starter and main choices, I only ate in there the first night due to this. Breakfast was good though!
