Trotz 15 Minuten Gehweg ins Zentrum ist es sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr stylisch und sauber

Cons:

Wir hatten die 1. Nacht ein Zimmer, das so laut war, dass man das Gefühl hatte ein Auto fährt durch das Zimmer. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir zum Glück wechseln. Sonst schönes Hotel.

Comfortable, helpful staff, excellent location
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in the Orchídea. We had a clean spacious room off the courtyard with pretty much anything we required for a short stay. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the Plaza Grande on a quiet street and an easy walk to the main market and to other worthwhile sights around the center.

We loved our stay at Villa Orchidea
Pros:

We loved the convenient location with on street parking. The accommodation was very comfortable and having communal tea and coffee added a homely touch. The breakfasts were the best we have experienced in Mexico, brava! But above all Griselda and her fantastic team looked after us so well and made us feel like family.

The staff were so nice and attentive. They certainly made our stay a memorable one.
Pros:

The staff were incredible, as was the location. The best attentive breakfast and fresh squeezed juice served on an elegant table. Quiet throughout the evening.

Cons:

No Kleenex in room, no “do not disturb sign”. As a senior, I had to carry my luggage up and down stairs.

De ideale plek in Mérida!
Pros:

Villa Orquidea is op alle fronten fantastisch. De medewerkers zijn lieve schatten, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De locatie is ideaal: centrum op loopafstand en aan een relatief stille straat. De faciliteiten zijn ideaal: altijd koffie, thee en water; een zwembadje, luie stoelen en hangmatten. Een heerlijk ontbijt, gezellig aan tafel met andere gasten.

Bruit de la rue insupportable
Pros:

Emplacement parfait au centre ville...(.mais chambre sur la rue= catastrophe ! ), petit petit-déjeuner copieux, personnel très aimable, chambres bien conçues ( sauf l'isolation phonique)

Cons:

LE BRUIT! ( jusqu'à 1h du patin et depuis 5h du matin) infernal depuis la rue dans cette chambre #1 qu'on nous a refusé de changer! cette chambre est inutilisable sans travaux majeurs d'isolation phonique. Il faut prévoir un bon stock de boules quies! A ce prix, c'est lamentable. 0

Pros:

The staff are very kind and helpful. We were celebrating a birthday during our stay and they prepared lovely decorations for my plate at breakfast and even a cake!
The room is spacious and there is available street parking right outside the hotel.

Cons:

The shower takes a long time to heat up, first few nights I had to shower under lukewarm water. Breakfast is just alright.

Pros:

Accueil chaleureux et agréable. L'hôtel est un petit havre de paix dans lequel on se sent bien, à distance de marche du centre ville. Très bon petit déjeuner !

Cons:

Notre chambre donnait sur une rue assez passante et donc assez bruyante, mais il y a moins de circulation la nuit, c'est donc plus calme.

Fijne locatie, mooie badkamer en zwembad. Slaapkamer miste wel wat charme een leuk nachtlampje zou al veel doen. Gastvrouw was heel vriendelijk!

A very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Orchidea.
Pros:

Good location 5/10 mins walk to some nice restaurants and the main square Staff were very welcoming, super friendly and attentive. Loved the antiques and curios on display, it felt very homely. Breakfast was great and it was nice to sit with the other guests. A nice touch that tea, coffee and water were complimentary and available throughout the day. Communal fridge and freezer, very useful. Room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Pool was a welcome treat after sightseeing.

Cons:

The lighting was too dim in the bathroom and there was some noise from traffic from about 5.30 am as the room backed on to a crossroads.
