Very good
Location to Harrogate centre
Staff were friendly and location is fairly close to the town centre.
Room was in a very poor shape. Wallpaper peeling from walls. No hot water - lukewarm showers despite the recommendation that we run the all hot water taps at the same time. When we arrived room was like a sauna. The worst thing was the pillow badly stained with blood and I do not know what! We mentioned these issues at the end and they said they would have moved us albeit the hotel was fully booked with coach trips who no doubt paid a lot less for their rooms.
Breakfast was very nice

Breakfast was very good
Building looking very tired and showing its age
Ticked all boxes for me.
Sort of place that doesn't really seem to exist anymore in this modern world driven by bottom line pressures.
If you're looking for blistering fast internet maybe it's time you need to slow down a bit.
THE ROOMS WERE REALLY SPACIOUS, THEY DID A LOVELY VALENTINES VOUCHER FOR BUBBLY
NOTHING, IT WAS GLORIOUS
The breakfast was super, the wait staff were very efficient. Well dressed too.
Our room was quite small, and definitely in need of some tlc. The bathroom was fine.
Location and carparking
Room was a bit dark
Another stay for me in this hotel. Great price for frequent stay (Military college parents). I love the look and climate of the old Victorian hotel. Just a murder mystery to resolve missing 😁
If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely come back.
Also always delicious breakfast.
Pillows could do with updating
Lovely clean warm hotel

Lovely looking hotel, in a handy location for travelling.

Everything. The location, easy access from the A1. A few minutes walk into Harrogate Town centre. Comfortable bed. Large en suite with a powerful shower over the bath. Excellent breakfast. All staff professional, helpful and friendly. We love the traditional charm of this Victorian hotel and it's history as a 'Hydro'.
The pillows weren't my favourite as I'm used to feather at home.
