Amazing location, close to the town center and the lake, and a beautiful view from the room. Staff were lovely :)
The light in the bathroom was very dim. When I went down for breakfast, people that sat down after me got their orders taken first, I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come up to me, which meant I didn’t have time to order before having to catch a bus, so had to miss out of the complimentary breakfast.
Breakfast was really nice. In a good area, and the room was spacious and comfortable bed.
The one thing that let it down was the shower. Effectively dripped out of the shower head and after a long walk, all you want is a nice shower.

Very noisy bar area (only small) on first night which staff did nothing to quieten down, uncomfortable. Only happened first night of stay

Lovely staff and a very cosy room with a comfy bed. Great views of the mountains from my room. The free breakfast included is first-class. The two ladies who served breakfast to the guests are so warm and friendly. Likewise, the gentleman who checked me in. The hotel is in the centre of Keswick. I will be back when next in Keswick.

Friendly staff and close to the centre
The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and big enough for our family of four. The bathroom was clean and the complimentary products were lovely. The breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful. A great choice of hot and cold food on offer.
The only thing I would improve was the mattress on the bed. It was rather hard for my liking but others may find it comfortable.

Just needs a little attention to the decor and updating
The staff and the breakfast were amazing, great choices
The TV only worked slightly on bbc1 and 2 indicating issues with the ariel. Granted you don't go to the lakes to watch TV but it's nice to have on when you're chilling after a busy day. Also, the plug sockets didn't fit our plugs next to the bed so had to use extension at the other end of the room. After 10miles of climbing it was a little annoying but that is all.

Having to find different car parks to put the car in as the hotel car park is very very small and you can only get about five cars in it.
