Pros:

A very comfortable bed. The full english breakfast was excellent as was the smoked salmon on sourdough. location of the hotel was perfect for accessing the town centre, but still in a quiet area.

Great location, warm, cosy and a home from
Pros:

Great location, easy to drive or walk to loads of great hikes. Historic building from the 1880s right in town that was so welcoming and cosy. The room was really warm when we arrived and smelt lovely. Plenty of space, the bed was so comfortable and incredible views of the mountains all around. Car park is tight but we got parked 2 out of the 3 days we stayed and parked on a nearby road on the last night but the public car park was really close and I would have happily paid. Breakfast is also great with plenty of options and good food to set you up for the day. Really happy to have booked this hotel for our winter trip and certainly would return.

Cons:

As it is an old building, sounds can be heard from the other rooms occasionally, creaks etc. if a light sleeper perhaps ask for a top floor bedroom.

It was ok.
Pros:

Size of room was good

Cons:

I picked this one as it said it had parking and evening meals. It had neither. The parking was limited to a few cars, far less than the number of rooms.

Pros:

Location excellent and the team extremely helpful. There was a limited choice at breakfast, however the full english breakfast (v) we had was delicious. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the view of the snow capped mountains from the room was stunning.

Cons:

We weren't lucky enough to get a parking bay and ended up moving the car around various car parks in Keswick. An irritation but not the fault of the Hotel, we'll arrive earlier next time!

ideal birthday stay.
Pros:

Unable to stay for breakfast which looked like it would have been really nice. The room and location were ideal. A real gem for keswick.
