Pros:

The room has a lot of character and charm that meets safety and comfort. Lots of attractions are really close by, especially the restaurants and the bowling in the building. Great price for the overall package!

Cons:

The TV could be bigger, but not a big deal if you're sitting by it. Also not a big deal for us, but the bowling above us could be a problem for some. The text for the warning was very much appreciated.

Pros:

We loved the location and to room! The room was very clean and very nice!! Checking in and checking out was very easy and communication with the staff was great.

Cons:

There is a bowling alley on the floor above the rooms that will keep you awake until late at night. We feel like this should have been mentioned when considering a stay. Didn’t affect is but we are sure that it will others. Also, there were multiple homeless people in the halls at night and sleeping by the elevators in the morning. This could be very unappealing to some.

ATTENDED A "THEM DIRTY ROSES" CONCERT @ THE HI-FI ACROSS THE STREET. GREAT TIME AT BOTH PLACES, THE HOTEL WAS NOSTALGIC AND QUAINT, WILL DIFFERENTLY STAY HERE AGAIN

Cons:

THE BAND COULD HAVE PLAYED LONGER, NOTHING WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WELL WORTH WHAT WE PAID FOR IT

Had a good time - but would have been nicer if we'd had a decent tub!
Pros:

Location. Location. Location. Right in the heart of things and that was nice - didn't have to drive the car all weekend! and were right across the street from the HiFi.

Cons:

did not realize we were getting a stand-up shower only. would have preferred a bathtub or garden tub. I don't believe our reservation showed we were only getting a single/standing room only shower!

The room was very nice, but I'd never stay here again due to the ridiculous amount endless noise.
Pros:

I liked the room and cleanliness. The safety of the facility was also nice, having keys to function the elevator so only guests are allowed after hours.

Cons:

The NOISE. The noise from the patrons of the club across the street, the people lingering around right below the window laughing loudly all night, the endless motorcycles, loud cars, and bass pounding car stereos. This went on until after 4am, when I finally decided to just leave 5 hours earlier than planned because I had slept a total of 25 minutes due to the noise, and drive 3 hours home on zero sleep.

Pros:

We loved the whole vibe of the place. The woodwork, hallway, even the entrance. Everything was well preserved and it was super neat to step back in time for the night. The had a perfect view of the fountains and the business below.

Pros:

The room was very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay to attend an event at Lucas Oil. Wish we had more time to explore some of the surrounding area while we were there. I can see why some have said things about the neighborhood but we never felt unsafe at all!

Cons:

The check-in process was a bit difficult because it isn't well labelled where to go. Also, you really don't see any staff during your stay.

Very nice spot with lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel
Pros:

Everything was very nice especially the personal service from the manager. Only reason the value was checked down it was Indianapolis 500 weekend so things were just higher. Highly recommend this hotel
