It is lovely, what a transformation, alot of work gone into refurbishment. Rooms are lovely, bar area down stairs very comfortable. Maybe a few sofas would be nice. Xx
I couldn't get the heating to go up any higher and it is a bit cooler than I would like .
Clean and fresh

Good location, helpful staff, lovely bedroom
Parking was a problem when we arrived.
The location was central enough so we could walk into the town. There was just about enough parking. The room and bathroom were clean. Staff were very friendly.
The breakfast was a let down as they weren't ready at 6:30 when we had booked it. I had a full english and my daughter had porridge. The eggs were under done and the egg whites were clear. I didn't send it back as we were in a hurry and we were already running late due to the wait. I also don't like sending food back. My daughter said the porridge was good. Everything else was good. The waitering staff were apologetic for the late running.
Lovely building that felt like a countryside due to all the trees, but only 10/15mins walk from centre of town. And plenty of parking.
We had a conference at the hotel with lunch and dinner for 20 people and presentations during the day. Aiden and the staff were very attentive and everything was very professionally run. The lunch and dinner were delicious and the booking and menu selection beforehand was very clear and there was lots of choice. We will be using the hotel again for future events.
My partner & I really enjoyed our stay here. The location was fab, easy walk into the main city with lots to see and do. The hotel reception and bar has been recently upgraded and we enjoyed the 24/7 hour bar service, playing board games with drinks, and food available here too.
Our hotel room was clean and comfortable and affordable!
Staff were friendly, there was a lovely lady (didn’t catch her name) who was working until 11 each night who ensured our needs were catered for, we also met Nick who was working overnight, he was lovely & gave us some history on the hotel & its grounds, as well as interesting facts about the area, which was very helpful for us as tourists.
Parking was free by putting our cars registration plate into an iPad on arrival, lots of parking & and overflow spaces just incase.
We would really recommend this to couples/ families/ singles of any age!
Looking forward to visiting again soon.
Great location, close to city centre. Clean and spacious room with powerful, warm shower. Comfortable stay with polite and helpful staff. Nice selection at breakfast. Overall, excellent value for money. Would stay again.
Parking was a little tight (but free so can’t complain!), decor of rooms a bit dated and the corridors are a little shabby in places but this did not affect our stay.
Breakfast was great, the room was lovely and big.
Location was great a short walk from the high street.
The heating didn’t work for our two nights we stayed. They did supply a plug in heater, but that was it. Was a bit disappointed that we were not offered anything else. As it was -5 when we stayed there.
We loved our room - we had a lovely big bath and a seperate room with a sofa, another tv and tea/coffee facilities
The miss match of decor but i belive there in the mist of decorating / referbishment

Sadly nothing, apart from the way the supervisor handled my complaint.
the room was so old, mould growing on the ceiling, the bath panel half hanging off, lose tiles that my 2 year old was playing with, rusty bath rail, damaged bath, no sheet provided for the cot (thank god I brought my own bedding).
Easy parking lovely clean hotel room excellent size and comfy room
Manque de choix au niveau du restaurant et prix assez chers
The location was perfect and the room beautiful.
I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a dressing table with a mirror I could use to get ready.
There was a long wall mirror that I had to stand at to dry my hair then a chair at a table with a large TV above.
Perhaps a small console table and stool would solve the issue.
