On property snorkeling with true island vibe
Pros:

Family of 3 came for spring break. The food here is fine for island food but was not a fan of the beds in the room. Being able to drop on the ocean right there to snorkel is AMAZING! The on site dive shop is great and did a discover Scuba for my 11 yo and he can’t WAIT to go back. Carlos was very patient and a great teacher. When it was too choppy at the beach the pool was a great alternative with a fantastic entertainment staff. While the property is a bit dated will most likely return for the access to nature and snorkeling!! Waitstaff all around is amazing and it being a dive community everyone kinda looks out for each other which makes it even more relaxing!

Hotel Cozumel needs help
Pros:

Food was OK, not great. People snag lounge chairs by the pool for the ENTIRE day, even though they leave. Lobby water had NO cups for much of the time. Not enough staff clearly. The gym was below bare minimum, needs serious updating in today's world. Lunch menu pretty minimal. Been here twice now and it was run much better when it was owned by Wyndham. Probably will not stay here again.

Excellent, amazing beach area!
Pros:

Super clean and well maintained, snorkeling right from the property .

Cons:

Allowing people to ‘save’ the pool loungers all day when they are not being used!! Very frustrating to cone out first thing in the morning and all the pool chairs are already saved!

הבריכה נחמדה.

Cons:

חדרים מיושנים מאוד. מקלחת ממש לא לטעמי. ברזים ישנים. כיור עם פיה חלודה. דלת כניסה ישנה מאוד. ערסל תקוע באמצע החדר. ( ניתן להזיזו)בעיות בצנרת המים. ( אתמול לא היו מים) למשך פרק זמן. ממש לא עונה על מלון 4*. ניסו בכניסה לגבות מאיתנו סכום כסף נוסף כי היתה טעות בהזמנה בבוקינג. בסוף זה סודר ( לאחר דיבור תקיף ביותר מצידינו) וזיכו את הכרטיס. הלובי יפה ומרווח. החדרים גדולים.

Incredibile e consiglio a tutti questa struttura, forse la migliore dell’isola per la spiaggia privata
Pros:

Struttura incredibile, con accesso tramite tunnel sotterraneo a una spiaggia privata in cui si può snorkling comodamente. Abbiamo visto tanti pesci diversi, mante. Piscina enorme con tutti i comfort possibili e ottima la colazione inclusa. Esperienza incredibile super consigliato

Wonderful
Pros:

I want to thank, Suny,Juanita,Jose,Yesi. For a wonderful experience in playing games they were friendly sweet. The rooms were OK. We had some water coming through the tile. They were fixingit when we got there. The servers for the food were wonderful. It was an experience for the very first time and everyone made it nice.

Estaba en un 90% de personas de la 3 edada !!!muy mal educada la recepcionista por ser nacionale con mi familia ya que 95% de los hospedados fueron extranjeros no lo recomiendo

Just not the same!
Pros:

Evidently this resort is under new ownership. The pool is still great and the rooms are clean and it is a convenient walk to town. The pool service staff has been drastically curtailed and the food quality has suffered. There are several annoying changes. You can’t get a club sandwich poolside and you can’t get a hamburger grilled at the ocean side dining room. Specialty meals were cancelled without explanation and we ate out at least half the time in the evenings. Despite staying here intermittently for over thirty years this will be our last unless things improve.

Cozumel Hotel and Resort
Pros:

This is our second time staying here so I knew that it was an older resort but rooms are clean, staff is friendly, nice selection of food on buffets and menu. This location is walkable to shops, restaurants. I felt safe walking and was never approached for money and we were there durning Carnival. The recreation staff made my stay great: Pepe, Suny, Yesi, Juanita and Ferdinand. I joined the water aerobics, corn hole, and enjoyed the supper picnics by the pool and evening entertainment, especially the dancers and magician. The breakfast chef, his name escapes me, is a master at keeping orders straight and cooking omelets/eggs to perfection. The servers were attentive as well. One more thing, you are in Mexico and they aren’t as fast paced as the USA, so be patient.

Excellent Pool and Location, But Not Worth the All-Inclusive
Pros:

We have stayed at this property many times in the past and have continued to return primarily because of its proximity and the excellent pool and ocean area. Unfortunately, the resort has rapidly declined compared to our previous visits. We decided to give it another try mainly because our friends were all meeting up in Cozumel, and we valued the opportunity to be together in a familiar location.

However, during our recent 11-day stay, both we and several other guests frequently discussed the noticeable decline in food and beverage quality. The food was consistently served cold, and there did not appear to be adequate monitoring of safe food temperatures. Breakfast was particularly disappointing, as the scrambled eggs often contained pieces of eggshell. In addition, the drink quality was poor, and the resort ran out of beer on more than one occasion.

The Italian-themed dinner was the biggest disappointment of all. The pasta sauce resembled a watered-down version of tomato soup, lacking the quality and flavor one would expect. The soup offering, which appeared to be mushroom, had acceptable flavor but was served cold. That evening was the final straw for us, and we chose not to eat any additional meals at the resort for the remainder of our stay.

Given our experience, it is difficult for us to understand reviews describing this as a great place to stay. There are many other resorts in the area that offer significantly better quality, and we will be exploring those options in the future. At this point, while the pool area and location remain exceptional, we are uncertain whether we would return, and we would definitely not choose the all-inclusive package again.
