Worst food of any resort i have ever stayed at. How can you have a salad bar with no lettuce? How can you have a pizza and past
Pros:

The food is terrible. Never hot especially at the snack bar. No lettuce at salad bar. No pizza on pizza and pasta night. 4 days to get bacon then they gave me 2 slices. I have been coming here for years and thought the food was getting better until this year. Have been going out to eat at night even though this is an all inclusive resort can't take this crummy food.
The rooms are clean but the draws fall out.

Pros:

Really enjoyed the pool area and activities led by Peppe'. His enthusiasm made you want to participate. From his jokes and friendliness, to his clear voice and patience with travelers , he was great. I look forward to his pool exercise and games next year.

A true Gem of a resort
Pros:

Just returned from a week at Cozumel Hotel and Resort and really can’t say enough good things about this property and it’s staff. We are Canadians who have travelled to 25 countries in the past 13 years so we’re experienced travellers. The room was simple but clean and had everything we needed including an amazing shower and plenty of hot water. Cleaning staff left beautiful towel creations with fresh flowers every day. There is a large pool that was just cold enough to be refreshing and the animation team kept everyone entertained throughout the day. Nightly entertainment was also really good. We met so many great people, some whom have been going to the resort for 20 or 30 years and staying for months at a time. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. Staff were constantly cleaning which for us, didn’t go unnoticed. The beach is small but very nice and the snorkeling and sunsets are outstanding as was the weather during our stay. My husband went diving and had a great experience. Downtown is a short walk away for shopping and other dining/beverage experiences. Special shout out to Jose, Pedro, Valtin, and Rosa, but really all the staff made it a memorable vacation. Highly recommended ❤️

I like everything about this hotel, except the food.
Pros:

This hotel is only 1 mile from the main town Square. Easy to walk to every night for dinner if you want.

Cons:

I’ve probably stayed at this hotel about seven or eight times. First time was in 1991. This hotel has really gone downhill. The food was just mediocre. The pasta was always cold. My friend had mashed potatoes and found a staple in them. New Year’s Eve dinner was much better in the past also. It’s a good thing that the town is only a mile away so at least you can get some good food!

Hubby's birthday trip
Pros:

Quick trip but didn't disappoint the staff were helpful and kind and the entertainment group especially jose were lots of fun and remembered everyones names. Denney the towel guy always greeted you with a smile. Thanks for everything fellas ❤️

Great in-expensive relaxing trip
Pros:

For the money it was okay, the rooms are dated and in need of upgrades but comfortable. The location is quite good with only a 15-20 minute walk to the main tourist area. The entertainment was good, the activity directors did a great job at getting people engaged and participating in their activities. THE FOOD, was very challenging, the breakfast buffet was good/okay but the lunch and dinner buffet were barely edible. On the upside there are some fantastic restaurants just a short taxi ride away, we would highly recommend Guido's italian restaurant.

Both exclusive experience and inclusive feeling staff
Pros:

This is my first time at an all inclusive and the staff were exceptional. I was so glad that they welcomed me as part of their family. No ask was beyond their ability to respond - even if at the standard Mexican time standard! Get used to it!

Great resort and friendly staff
Pros:

The hotel is very clean. The food was very good as well. The staff were very friendly.

The entertainment crew, Suny , Juanita, Jose and yesi were great. They always kept us entertained and did all they could to make our visit enjoyable. Could not ask for a better group of people.

Comfortable if you get a updated room.
Pros:

Our second room was much nicer and cleaner. Glad we didn’t settle staying at the first room. It was a huge difference.
Breakfasts had a good variety.
