Cons:

The fact that the room was never cleaned properly. Never once did the lady go out on the balcony to clean it.

Huonetta lähti näyttämään henkilö, joka ei löytänyt sitä. Itse löysin sen paremmin. Ei kovin vahva aloitus. Hotellilla ei ole omaa rantaa ja aurinkotuoleja, huom jos niitä toivoisit.

We were made to feel welcome when we arrived with a cool flannel and drink. Our luggage was taken to the room for us, once it was ready, and as my husband had been before we were welcomed in the room with a welcome home display on the bed. The bed was very comfortable too.
The facilities were great, especially the pool just outside our room as we had a swim up room. The breakfasts were really good with so much choice of food for you and the atmosphere was chilled. All the staff were so polite and happy. We felt so relaxed and looked after, wished we could have stayed longer!! Our luggage was looked after once we had checked out as our flight was later in the day. We also had shower facilities so we could freshen up before our journey home. We will definitely return 😊

Perfect accommodation with very friendly staff
Pros:

Everything was perfect. We had a swim up room which had a comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked fresh to your preference.
Location was good, close to the beach but a little further out of town if that’s where you want to be

Frokosten var omtrent «midt på treet.» vi bodde på 4 hoteller denne gangen, og frokosten her var den dårligste. Vi var heldige og fikk et av få rom som hadde sol og direkte adgang til bassenget. Ellers var restauranten Le Siam i komplekset, meget bra. God og rimelig mat, hyggelig betjening

Cons:

Frokosten kunne vært bedre. Hoteller er for voksne, men mye trapper, opp og ned og smale adkomster. Ikke noe sted for voksne med problemer. Kunne ikke ha toalettpapir i do. Dette måtte legges i en bøtte ved siden av. Denne ble tømt en gang om dagen. Ikke akseptabelt. Gammeldagse låser på dørene, og en måtte levere nøkkel i resepsjonen når en gikk ut . Et stykke å gå til sentrum. Badehåndklær er usikker på når de skiftes. Stranden er nær, men hotellet hadde ikke egen plass

Wonderful place, wonderful people
Pros:

Wonderful place, wonderful people, our second visit to the Khao Lak Oriental resort and once again it didn’t disappoint. We are already planning our return next year. The staff treated us more like friends, so kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Every time we entered, or left, the reception girls gave a very warm greeting, Bee , Opal and Miew especially were extremely helpful. We stayed in one of the swim up pool rooms , traditional Thai style , a very comfortable bed and all the amenities needed and what a luxury being able to go straight into the beautiful pool, swim up to the bar to be served by the amazing Bowling , Mia , Cha Cha and Tuffy . Sorry I don’t remember more names as they were all so efficient, smiling , remembering our names, room number and importantly our order every day. My husband loved the cookery class , second time of taking, Mr Egg (nicknamed by Chai one of the very proficient manger’s ) the chef , making delicious Thai specialties . I visited the relaxing Spa, greeted by Jenny , to have the most wonderful massage and facial.
The hotel is only a very short walk from the beach and from bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying at the resort and are looking forward to our next visit .

Kiva huone pääsyllä uima-altaalle. Huoneessa kaikki tarvittava. Sänky aika kova, kaipaisi paksun petauspatjan. Aamupala hyvä. Lyhyt matka loistavalle rannalle.
