Weather was awful but room heating was cosy, staff lovely, pity it’s a wee bit tired now.
Pros:

The staff were lovely & helpful.
Our rooms were ready early!

Cons:

It’s a bit shabby, we stayed there a few years ago and it was a top hotel then, it’s a bit tired now.

We booked one room for a night , no hot water to shower, room was very cold even though I rarely feel cold , toilet was messy and not properly clean that I didn’t feel like touching anything. Tap was having a leak , shower was leaking from the tube , window was leaking water inside. The room has one panel to heat and takes very long to heat the space of the room . The washbasin was blocked and the water was not draining. After complaining the reception offer a room to the 9th floor instead of 4th floor as the boiler may be providing hot water at that floor first . Luckily in the 9th floor we had hot water at least . Everything else was as bad as the previous room . Finally we compromised as we were staying just for one night and the next morning we left after having a so much average breakfast that we were not in the mood to eat properly after the dirt we came across. Paid around 130€ for one night which came out as the worst price to value that have ever paid . Outside seeing the building you feel mesmerised as it looks modern , but in reality after staying 5 minutes in the room you begin realising that everything is partially abandoned and left to luck . Stay away if you need to enjoy your stay in Newcastle.

Great location but nothing good apart from that.

No hot water in showers. Dont clean the room (as I stayed for two nights)

Had to ask for towels on second day.

Generally the hotel feels run down and you are paying top price for a below average hotel.

No on site parking. Had to drag the cases 5 mins away to a multi story car park.
