Onsen was perfect. Couches were amazing. Spacing was great.
We didn’t have a car so ended up paying thousands of yen for taxis and no groceries or convenience stores nearby.
適合自駕旅客,地理位置偏遠,外觀像一般公寓,環境安靜,溫泉超棒 隨時隨地都有熱騰騰溫泉可享受
Amazing interior of rooms. Very clean and well maintained. Private onsen was a highlight.
No hairdryer that we could find!
This was such a fabulous spot. Don't be deterred by the exterior of the building - the rooms themselves are beautiful. We had a spacious suite that seemed newly renovated with a private onsen inside, with the window opening out to a beautiful forest view, and a balcony. The room was spotless and the beds were super comfy. There were also great amenities like comfy pyjamas and personal care kits.
Inside there's a kitchen, dining table and lounge area with a TV. The kitchen was well-equipped, which is great as it's a bit out of the way of the main city.
Be forewarned that the mountain road up to this place is a bit treacherous, especially if you have a bigger vehicle. It's 10 minutes up a relatively steep and windy road with some blind corners. A car is absolutely necessary to stay here.
There are quite a few bugs outside but it is really in nature so this is to be expected. Several bug sprays were provided in and out of the rooms. We didn't see any bugs inside at all.
Nothing in particular. If you have accessibility requirements or don't have a car during your stay, this definitely isn't the right spot for you, though. (No elevator, difficult mountain road access).
everything I travel Japan for past three years and this was probably two hotel I ever stayed. It's beautiful and very clean don't judge it by outside. They are surprisingly clean
just one thing it's very hard to find food or restaurants nearby so I prefer you to prepare something to cook or buy something from convenience store,

Le bain chaud dans la chambre, super
La vue sur la montagne est également magnifique
La stanza era perfetta. Gli host sono stati super disponibili e gentili. É stato tutto perfetto. Spero di tornare un giorno
There is no curtain in the private onsen. We worry we are seen by people opposite our building. The staff said
the opposite buildings are empty but who can guarantee. Finally we need to use all the available towels to put onto the windows but they cannot be well fixed . We can’t enjoy fully due to this .
Bath and views were amazing, staff very friendly and helpful
Cabs don't come up to the resort from the GO app. Although I had a lovely morning walk down to town
Spacious with amenities to wash clothes and relax like you were at home.
Location is far outside of town, but if that is the purpose of your trip, it is okay.
Private onsen in each room and updated facilities inside the rooms. Nice view from the onsen.
The aircon was not cleaned when we got in our room. There was some mold on the ceiling in one area. And there aren't food facilities very near - you need to drive down the windy hill.
Great staff and facilities
Location
The view: the room: and the private onsen.
There is no elevator. We had to carry heavy luggages up the stairs to 4th floor. The reception was opened with limited period, and some times no people was there at all. Staff could not understand enough English, but their hospitality was very good.
It’s an insanely peaceful place, relaxing environment with the perfect staff that manages it!
The room we had was spacious, and the the tub is really the star of the show, we already miss it!
We recommend to get a car or take a taxi up, and it’s also worth to walk down from there to the city.
We’ll come back for sure.
The accessibility to the hotel can be tricky if you don’t have a car, but it’s not an issue of the hotel itself.
A beautiful retreat in a rural area, no noise from people or traffic. We had a beautiful view from our private onsen. Even with poor weather it was nice and cosy looking out to the foggy mountains. Room was a good size to not feel cramped with 2 people. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with quality dishes, cutlery and cooking pans.
Pictures and description of the property were accurate.
Staff were exceptional and friendly. We ran into a problem with trying to get a taxi in to town one morning and instead of the staff calling us a taxi, he very kindly offered to drive us there. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again.
Nothing negative to say about the property.
I would just advise customers to rent a car or take a taxi from Usami Station.
It is not at all walkable even without luggage, steep, winding and narrow roads from town up to the hotel with no footpaths.
There are also no stores close by so pick up some food in Usami town before getting to the hotel.
