In the hotel side, everything was incredible. From the hotel view to the friendliness of staff specially "Seth".
Unfortunately, when it came to the restaurant side, when I checked in, I decided to show up with my wife to have a couple of drinks and something to eat, the bartender wasn't to friendly. so we gave it a second chance and showed up to dine for Superbowl night. We waited about almost 20 minutes to get a server to get our food order, I understand they were busy but they were 2 servers and I felt we were getting skipped from other tables that showed up after we did. At the end of our meal, we asked for a cheesecake, the server supposedly took our order but I think she either left on a lunch break or went home, I let the halftime show finish and I realized that our cheesecake never showed up, I asked the other server that was there for our cheesecake and comes to find out, the cheesecake order was never placed. I am a server employee myself and I have never done that to anyone ever. I just wanted to enjoy my 20th anniversary with my wife and not make it a big deal that night.
But to finish this, I still recommend this hotel to anyone that would like to go visit when they go to NY, and I would consider to come back again cause it was the most comfortable hotel room I've ever stayed.
The views are spectacular. Also loved the layout and design of the rooms and the furniture, very cosy. And loved the americano-coffee-machine. Friendly staff members, felt at home.
Breakfast-situation (not really a buffet), but because we/I usually don‘t eat in the hotel, that wasn‘t a big deal. Also the room was here and there a bit filthy, that was a bit a downer. But still loved the room.

I got a deluxe corner king room. It was very spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was functional, and it has a bathtub.
The staff has always been very helpful throughout my stay. Right when I arrived tired after a long flight, they upgraded my room to a higher floor so I could enjoy a great view of the city.
The bathtub is quite small, and the timer on the light in the bathroom is a bit short to be able to enjoy the bath. There should be a way to lock the light on.
The location is fantastic. Many attractions are within a few minutes walk, and the ones further away are also easy to get to by subway. The view from the rooms is stunning and unforgettable.
There was no kettle, but we got it on request. There is no microwave in the whole building, which would have been important to heat my baby's food, so not so baby friendly. The air conditioner was very loud and the noise of the elevator can be heard in the room. Overall it was a good experience.
