We met up with friends and had a lovely relaxing overnight stay and had no need to leave the premises as the facilities

Very pleasant stay .
Pros:

Loved the grounds, the peacocks , the pool . Very nice staff . Big room size . Great breakfast .

Cons:

The food in Shakespeare bar was a little uncreative/ boring , and expensive .. menu could have been better and perhaps a kids menu. Also pity the view from our room was a car park . Would have loved to wake up to lawns with peacocks .

Pros:

Stayed one night for a 50th in the Ballroom , what a superb welcome by reception staff , delighted our room upgraded to wonderful four poster , great quality of furnishings  stunning views .... we had a drink and snack in bar before the function started, friendly staff very efficient , the function was well supported by the staff , a great night sleep , then the breakfast we sat in the conservatory , clever low chair and low tables so stylish , so much choice , special mention the scramble egg often so dry like a car cleaning leather , YOURS SO GOOD AND MOIST , the quality of ingredients shone out , then the lobby fans of fools and horses will love the impressive chandelier  , all this with those magnificent peacock strutting past ...very much enjoyed my experience here , its challenging looking after so many people , your team did it so well

Amazing staff, amazing building and wonderful location
Pros:

Staff were brilliant, the buffet breakfast was excellent, even for vegetarians. The hotel itself is a lovely building and the peacocks wandering around is a lovely touch. Facilities wise, it has all you need even though we didn’t use the swimming pool or sauna. A big shout out to cleaning staff and reception, you guys are amazing.
