Could have been so much better with simple improvements

Great location, friendly staff and very clean

Cons:

Mattress was really thin and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. Didn’t get much sleep. Breakfast on 2nd morning was tepid at best.

Lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and really friendly staff
Pros:

Room was as booked, comfortable bed, good water pressure, and quiet.

Cons:

We stayed during the heatwave so it was hot, the fan helped but ultimately there's no match for air conditioning.

This could have been a lovely stay but we were really disappointed by the breakfast experience - for the money we expect
Pros:

Evening meal was delicious , room was compact but nicely done. Was very warm - the bathroom seemed to have a heated floor in the summer?

Cons:

Breakfast was over an hour to wait - when it was really quiet. When it arrived it had clearly been sat under a warmer and other guests were complaining. Breakfast was £19.95 each and it was a real disappointment
