Location, streaming services, breakfast was adapted as I am vegan (fresh avacado/sourdough was delicious) thank you
Ordered a half portion of gnocchi with side of veg - it was not fresh gnocchi so I left half. The bill was £27, when challenged they said they don’t do half portions and I must pay full price. Eventually they unhappily took payment for a half portion.
Bath plug was faulty (didn’t retain water) mattresses were sunken and pillows too hard. Small shower also didn’t work. Glass was stuck to the tray - either sticky cleaning products or glass not been refreshed for some time.
Spacious and warm room, nice dinner, great breakfast.

Location was great, bed was super comfortable.
Spacious room
Breakfast looked amazing although I only had a light breakfast. Near golf course which looked decent
Hard to add to this point. The best I can come up with was the fire door between bedroom and ensuite.
Hardly a complaint!
Breakfast was good and a fair price. Service at every point was very good.
Good location

We have stayed at this venue before and the breakfast was great, on this last stay it was very disappointing, very understaffed, poor quality products
We had a wonderful stay the previous New Year, this New Year, we decided to stay in a dulux room, the bed was terrible, just 2 single beds pushed together, the bar and restaurant was so short staffed it made you feel like you didn't want to ask for a drink or food. The New Year Gala was advertised as 5 courses, it was only 3. and the quality was no where near as good as the year before. I just felt like it had gone down hill.
Lovely vibe nice atmosphere great food
The beds were so uncomfortable and lumpy we woke every 2 hours so not best sleep
Gluten Free Breakfast was very tasty, cooked to order.
Floorboards in room were very squeaky but the room itself was very nice
We did not have breakfast. Location convenient
A better view from our window. A working shower. Bath Towels. Clean tray for tea and coffee
• Dog-friendly atmosphere: The hotel was welcoming and accommodating for pets, which made our stay much easier and more comfortable.
• Spacious room: Helpful for traveling with our dog, even if the decor was lacking.
• Welcoming staff: Everyone was polite and friendly. Special mention to Jess, who impressively managed multiple roles one evening with grace and great service.
• Delicious food: The menu was varied and high-quality, served in a cosy, autumnal setting.
• Ideal location: Perfect base for exploring the New Forest, with charming touches like roaming donkeys visible from the restaurant.
• Room quality: The Deluxe room didn’t match the online photos or price point. Paint was chipped, furnishings were outdated and mismatched, and there was no headboard for comfort.
• Disappointing view: Despite booking a room with a view, ours overlooked the car park.
• Overall value: The standard of the room didn’t justify the cost.
Everything but the pillows on the bed. To hard, and need changing
Pillows need changing
Bedroom was lovely. Great location.
Breakfast was awful. I had to send the muffin back as my knife couldn’t go through it, it had obviously been frozen. Why not just use fresh stuff? The next day I had scrambled eggs and ham and the eggs were so bland and the ham was such bad quality.
Room was clean and had tea and coffee facilities.
The water was cold, staff not able/willing to help, 'its and old building'. The window didn't shut in the bathroom so it was cold. The food was good but not much choice if just looking for a light meal and very expensive.
Plenty of parking
No bath in room as stated in booking confirmation.
Luke warm water and very poor water pressure in the shower.
Stains on towel.
