A well run and presented country inn. Comfortable and welcoming. Food was good too
Pros:

A generally quiet location in the New Forest with easy access to the ferry at Poole within an hour’s drive. Well maintained and comfortable.

Massively disappointing
Cons:

There was no running hot water for 3 days we were there. We complained and were told we would get a refund upon return home for the major inconvenience. When we got home, we were offered £26. Will never stay here again.

Happy Place
Pros:

Everything. The food is exceptional and the staff are some of the best that I've seen.
The rooms are very comfortable and being dog friendly is the main draw for us. We always have a great stay here.

Little gem of a hotel
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the Bell Inn. The staff were welcoming and professional. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast next day was really good. Young man serving was very friendly and efficient. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cons:

Only 2 tea bags in room.

Very comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent breakfast with lovely poached eggs expertly cooked.
Nice to get a cafetiere in the room with ground coffee replaced daily.
Great to have quality tea bags too, much appreciated.

OK, needs a refresh, great staff, just sad that it was not what I expected!
Pros:

The one beer I had was excellent as were the staff; all very happy to help! Everything was clean.

Cons:

The room was tired and dated as was the bathroom. The bed was rather soft and the room was not what I expected, nor what I thought an AA four star would be. Breakfast was good in terms of presentation. However, there seemed to be no real flavour to the food nor the coffee.

Great value option
Pros:

Super easy check in and the rooms are all ground floor, suited our late arrival. Friendly staff and everything we needed for our stay.

Cons:

The beds could have been more comfortable - particularly the hard pillows.
