Very good and nice choices
None
Breakfast was very good
Hotel was nice, shame about the weather!
A regular here. Staff always friendly. Rooms clean. Bed comfortable. I must thank the barman! On the first night I moaned there was rarely real ale in the bar. The following night, there it was on tap, and delicious too. Thanks.
Food is often variable. Depends on the chef. Restaurant often quiet. The other Greene King Pub just a few minutes walk away is always packed. There the food is much cheaper and more consistent in quality, and has a better selection of drinks. Maybe the 'powers that be' should reflect on this. You may then find the bar and the Restaurant will become busier and more profitable with a rethink of the menu and prices. I love staying at the Raven and this comment is meant to be helpful rather than a criticism.
Clean comfortable and peaceful. Beautiful to stay
Friendly staff particularly at breakfast
Bath a bit small, needs a refurbishment on paintwork
Location suited our needs, staff friendly and clean room.
Thin walls, residents next door were loud till gone 3am not good!
Location. Excellent breakfast
Staff ignored too often. Cleaning of general areas poor. No soap in the bar loos.
Comfortable room, friendly staff.
Bit noisy room was near the restaurant.
Very good rooms a good size and good facilities
The restaurant section was a bit noisy when activities going on in bar
Location
Not enough power sockets in room
Rooms are dated
The location is fantastic as located in a lovely village with shops, pubs, hairdressers, barbers etc. Also just a couple of minutes walk away from the train station. Basingstoke town centre is just a few minutes on the train.
The menus don’t indicate foods that are gluten free which is very disappointing as other establishments manage to ensure there is plenty of choice for us Coeliacs.
Wifi was good, breakfast was excellent and it was close to station
Beds were too soft
Food was good . Both evening meal and breakfast
The hotel was a bit "tired"
Grubby doors .. threadbare carpet in rooms ... felt cheap
Wir kennen das Raven schon aus den Vorjahren.
Für unser Ziel im New Forest die ideale Übernachtungslocation.
Das Frühstück, das Abendessen und der Pub sind einfach klasse!
Comfortable nights sleep and great location off M3 with a pub on the premises. Staff all friendly.
A strange smell in the bedroom(no.1). Smelt like damp/mould...maybe coming from the bathroom.
great location as working away
Nothing, all good
