Location

Cons:

Fee for parking and staff did not give me any information upon check in. Only told me my room number. I had to specifically ask for other information like car park, check out time, where and what time the tram bar was open. Very disappointing for a nice accommodation. This brought down my overal rating as this was the first interation i had when arriving to the hotel.

Pleasant stay for a few nights..

It was clean and pleasant

Cons:

We had a hired car which we were pleased about because the hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre and up a hill.

Pros:

The bed

Cons:

We were booking in and told to move the car had not paid for parking did not even know where parking was.The shower curtain had mould on marks on it.

Pros:

Location, room, bed and Tramshed bar and restaurant were great.

Cons:

The noise from other inconsiderate house guests left a lot to be desired. One guest had multiple phone calls in the early hours of the morning and elected to have lengthy conversations in the hallway thus waking myself and occupants of nearby rooms. He graciously removed himself from annoying his partner/room guest but disturbed others. The door slamming by him and other late-night owls meant little sleep.

We enjoyed our stay, location was great, other than the car park issue, everything else was great

Cons:

We paid for parking but after returning to the car park after dinner, the car park was full with no car park spaces left, this happened 2 out of 3 nights, the 3rd night we didn’t take the car out, so didn’t need to try to find a car park

I normally enjoy staying - but not so much this time
Pros:

Staff were wonderful

Cons:

The driveway has become a hanging spot for youths late into the night with a considerable amount of noise. I have stopped there before over weekends, however the noise this weekend was considerable. In addition the car parking issues with the road now closed was horrendous. I am aware that this issue is not caused by the hotel, however it should also be communicated at booking that parking is now an issue and will be until works are finalised.
