Pros:

Très bon emplacement avec accès direct à la plage. Beauté du site.
Jolie piscine.
Excellent personnel à l’accueil, verre de bienvenue. Chambre très qualitative et confortable.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner pourrait plus copieux dans la proposition faite dans le menu inclus.
Personnel du bar de plage qui manque un peu de professionnalisme. Manque une douche à la plage et à la piscine.
Travaux en cours sur le Beach club.

Bar-Personal am Strand sehr aufdringlich um ein Getränk zu kaufen. Frühstück wurden 2 bestellt und 2x wurde meins vergessen. Fliegen und Mücken in unerträglicher Menge.

At the beginning the staff were very friendly, making "luxurious" greeting. The whole place I would say is "luxurious wannabe" but reality was a little bit different. I made a few stays at top notch hotels, they pretended to be the same but small things were not working. The breakfast is very short a la carte list. Most probably we have been stolen in the hotel room (it was also our fault as we left the money on the table and I'm 90% sure that we had 500 peso more). The room was fine, with beautiful furniture, bed and paintings but it was open with the bathroom and the toilet was behind thin, glassy doors with many gaps to see your lovely wife thru them when you are doing your business. At the end? They charge you extra for "city tax" which was about 80 USD for 5 days, not a huge deal but it wasn't mentioned in booking.com, because of that we opened the dispute with booking. At the end? Bioluminescence and beautiful beaches close by, wonderful places, just don't pretend to be a place that you are not :) just a typical 4* European standard with luxurious talking.

For Relax but overpriced vs others in the island
Pros:

The amenities are cool and very comfortable. Quick access to a clean and quiet beach, although beach club has nothing beyond some beds on the sand. Rooms are very nice and clean. The pool was quite relaxing.

Cons:

This was my third time there, it has become a yearly tradition with my wife. This time I am very disappointed on the service. Management has clearly changed and the experience is not the same for a Hotel that competes on pricing vs other even newer boutiques concepts on the island. Staff promises to check on whatsapp chat constantly but 40 minutes later you get a reply. We found a huge alacran in the room and they say nothing to help. Check out experience was terrible, 30 minutes spent there, we almost lost out ferry due to this. They said they need to check the room to let you go and they spend a lot of time doing this. The food at the restaurant is not worth the price. The pizza is similar of the one you can buy at supermarket on the fridge. Breakfast included though was very complete and delicious. The pricing vs the original booked was changed as well with no reason, the booking price from the app was not respected.
