A fabulous impromptu stay as the rate was so good, and now we are looking for excuses to go back!
Pros:

Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and efficient. We opted to have dinner in the hotel. The restaurant had a welcoming, warm ambience with the decor in keeping with the hotel. My husband has a very healthy appetite, but 2 courses was all he could manage as the portions are generous! The food was delicious, particularly the arancini and the seabass. I couldn't finish my main - which was in no way reflective of the quality of the food. Just too much for me. Our bed was huge & incredibly comfortable & the bathroom large and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was top notch. They must source very high quality produce, as the bacon and sausages were amazing. Plenty of choice of continental, cereals, pastries, juices and cooked items. Table service was nice as it is becoming a rare treat these days.

Cons:

The indoor pool was superb and very warm. However... yet another hotel where the jacuzzi is 'under maintenance'. My poor arthritic body had been SO looking forward to a soak!
