Excellent choice for staying in Kyoto
Pros:

The hotel is well located. There is a bus stop very close and 2 metro stations at a relative distance, all walkable with or no suitcases, which is very convenient in Kyoto. The room is quite spacious for Japan, the beds are comfortable and there’s a microwave at the floor and a water heater in the room, so you can save some money with food if you want, but there are also cafés nearby if you want to eat outside. It is close to Nishiki market and Gion, and from there you can move to other parts of the city by bus, which is also convenient. You can even move to Osaka from a nearby train/metro station. The staff also helped us by keeping our luggage for a couple hours for a last minute shopping we had to do before leaving the city. Overall, we had an excellent experience at this hotel. I love visiting Kyoto and I I’d love to stay here again without a doubt.

Hôtel pratique
Pros:

L'emplacement était pratique. A la fois assez proche de la gare et du centre ville avec des supermarchés et restaurants à proximité immédiate. Le personnel était adorable.

Cons:

Le ménage avait été un peu sommaire, il restait des déchets des précédents occupants. La porte des toilettes avait été abîmée et réparée sommairement avec des morceaux de plastique qui tombaient.

Pros:

The bathroom was spacious, very clean, and offered an excellent view. The room itself was small for four people, but considering the price it was fine. It had a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a table to place our things. The hotel is about 800 meters from Kyoto’s historic center, with the bus station right in front of the hotel and the train station almost the same distance from the center.

Pros:

20 minutes from the pagoda by foot, near the train stations, 20 minutes walk from nishiki market... place is just unbeatable.

Bedroom and bathroom was perfect.

Pros:

Very easy to checkin, staff are courteous and helpful. Best for family or group travelers worth the money, near to attractions dining areas and shrines. Also very quiet neighborhood.

Pros:

部屋が広く静かだった。お部屋が清潔。ゴミ箱が大きくて3つに別れていてとても良い。フロアに電子レンジがある。ベッドが広い。バストイレ別も嬉しい。夫婦2人と小学生2人だったのでソファーベットもありがたかった。スタッフさんの対応が丁寧で良かった。

Cons:

とても良かったのであえて細かい指摘だと、周辺に家族でご飯を食べる所が無かった。エレベーターが1台で遅い。洗面所に荷物を置ける棚が無い。冷凍庫が無い。ですが、良かった点が嬉しかったので、機会があればまた泊まりたいです。

Cute room in a good location
Pros:

Friendly staff and service. Cute room with unique shower room.

Cons:

The rooms were a little tight and I wish there was some counter space in the bathroom but I think this is typical of Japan.
