A cheap place to stay in a good location

Clean and chatacter-full building.

Cons:

Only a trickle of water from kitchen tap. Loud plumbing noises. Traffic noise. No subdued lighting. No reception staff.
It's reasonably cheap, but I recently stayed in a hotel in Peterborough which was fractionally cheaper and so much better

Horrible experience

No reception no staff. Room wasn't replenished with tea toilet rolls, no one to ask. If felt very impersonal.no bar. No where to have breakfast in hotel.room floor wasn't cleaned. Made a note when booking it was my 5 year wedding anniversary no personal touches. Room small felt like we was dealing with A I . Corridors had bad stains on carpet. Very disappointed stay.

Nightmare at Station hotel

Being close to the venue I attended.

Cons:

The quality of the room was very poor. There was damp on the wall beside the bed, and the room was not properly cleaned. There was also a knife missing from the cutlery set, leaving only a fork and spoon.

There were no staff around in case of an emergency. During heavy rain, water came through the wall and ceiling, soaking my bed and the wallpaper. That during the remaining days of my stay I had a few asthma attacks.

The fire alarm system was not suitable for guests with disabilities or additional needs. The shower floor was rusty, and the shower unit was positioned too high for shorter people to reach comfortably. The microwave was also installed far too high for me to reach safely.

The TV were too high up for shortsighted people and if subtitles were on still couldn't follow. The list of complaints goes on.

Excellent, thoroughly recommend.
Pros:

The location and kitchenette also the staff were excellent and bent over backwards to accommodate my husband and I who has hearing loss and was dealt with in a respectful way.

If you are happy with basics and cheaper than other hotels nearby then ok.
Pros:

Location free parking and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

No snakes and drinks available to buy in the past they had. Staff not easy to find any. In the past there was a larger seating area with a large TV to watch in the reception area.
