Front desk manager kunne kun ganske få engelske ord (dog ville han ikke indrømme det og havde en arrogant attituden), hvilket gjorde kommunikation om alt fra Nytårsbuffet, rengøring og shuttle bus næsten umuligt.

Our check in was at 2 and we were made to wait till 4:45 at the reception saying the previous guest didn't leave and they need time cleaning up. One of the Aircons didn't work but then they fixed it after complaining. The bath room wasn't mainted well. There was mold on the blinds and the shower attachment needs to be changed. It's located completely interiors and there was no option to rent a bike. There was only an expensive taxi service, if it's just one person wanting to go out. Our sister had a health issue and we requested to cook some plain rice that we brought, apart from our dinner orders. They couldn't fulfill it. The resort was understaffed and lots of communication gap and the manager was travelling apparently to take any feedback. Over all terribly disappointed.

Way too expensive and too far away from white beach. There is nothing too do here, Pool is dirty, beach also, kitchen close already 19,30 after this nothing at al too do not even a snooker table. Strange way too book taxi, they scam you, I book taxi with reception and got a tuk tuk instead. The hotel drive me for free to a place for rent a bike said the drive was for free, to the rent for bike place but charged me 400 baht for the ride back this took less than 10 minit drive and why was the ride too the bike was free but not the ride back. Very strange. The whole place is a scam and booking pricing on the island koh chang is not correct. No way these hotels are worth 10000 baht too 30000 baht and the day after I booked almost all hotels had 50 procent discount. This hotel make relationships broke up.

Rooms are old, not clean, equipment not working (leaking fridge, water heater not working, bathtub broken...), no TV, no room cleaning, no room service. If you pay for an additional bed, you only get a mattress on the floor...

The property was visibly not maintained as well as it could be.
I am all for the cute little geckos in rooms, but there were lots of little bugs/termites literally eating away at the room.
The locks on the windows were rusty and hard to open and close. And not all of them locked into place which was a bit concerning considering the sign on the door to ensure everything is secure due to monkeys.
The restaurant hours were not great, the menu was ok.
With some energy and love I think this place could be really special. But this visit, for me, the price did not match the accommodation.

We were charged one hundred pounds per night which is a lot in Thailand, we stayed for 5 nights and the room was cleaned just once, the rooms haven’t been modernised since they were built probably 20 or 30 years ago. Everything was rotten or falling apart. The pool looked like it had problems it was a funny colour and dirty, the staff were quite rude and unhelpful and the location of the place is remote, you will need a car or motorbike if you want to leave the hotel
To see anything

We arrive at ko Chang pier and no one wants to take us to the hotel because it’s far and opposite to where all the tourist are going. Basically this place is far from everything that’s worth visiting in Koh Chang.

Then we got there and immediately realise that what you see in the pictures is false advertising. This is essentially a very old hotel that appears to have been neglected for years, with no evident maintenance.

The swimming pool was dark Green and closed. They had a notice saying that the pool was closed until next day at noon but when the time came the notice was still there, the swimming pool was still green and still closed.

Upon check-in, we were taken to our room (the one shown in the pictures with the woman in the white dress). The buildings were clearly outdated and poorly maintained. As I entered the room, the wooden floor literally gave way beneath me. My leg got stuck, and I was unable to move it in any direction. It was an extremely frightening situation. The staff simply froze, doing nothing to help. It was my wife who saved me—she found a stone and broke the wooden plank around my leg to free me.

My leg was very injured so we asked for a first aid kit. They brought us ice and an expired antiseptic solution.

After this we were very upset and did not feel safe at that place anymore so we informed that we would have to stay the night because it was already too late to find an alternative stay, but we wanted to check out the next day and be refunded in total.

The staff spoke very basic English and could not make decisions autonomously so they called the manager, who was not present. The manager did not want to talk to us and said that the best they could do was to offer us dinner and cocktails. No refund.

We felt offended to say the least. We insisted for hours that we wanted to speak to the manager but they wouldn’t let us because the manager forbade them to pass the phone on to us.
