For short stay: fine
Pros:

For a short stay totally fine. Make sure to bring shampoo etc. There is a watson and some restaurants nearby, where you can just walk up to.
There are possibilities to charge your devices via usb/usbC also, but we just needed one more additionally - Via messages they offered us a power adapter to borrow, which was really nice.

Make sure to not forget any belongings in the room, since they don‘t inform you about that after the check-out. Except you immediately notice it and ask about it, otherwise, we wouldn't have gotten any information.

Good location but can improve
Pros:

Room was clean with many eateries and pharmacy downstairs. Water dispenser provided. Self check in instructions were clear. Check in Whatsapp number I/C 's response for enquiries was fast.

Cons:

Room did not provide chair and after asking was provided. Bath soap plus shampoo were not provided either.
Water paip was broken causing water leakage.
Toilet clogged as well. Seems maintenance needs to be upgraded.

Overall satisfy with the price.
Pros:

The location is superb, safe and lots of restaurants nearby. Free parking slot. Free toiletries & water provided. Easy check in process.

Cons:

Not clean throughly , toilet bowl yellowish.

Misrepresentation of self check what if you don’t have a phone

Cons:

The website stated that the hotel closed at 12 a.m., but I arrived at 10 p.m. and discovered it was self-check-in, which was very confusing. If I hadn’t had a SIM card in my phone, I would’ve been completely stuck. I feel the listing was misleading—self-check-in isn’t ideal for travelers without phone access, especially arriving late at night. I eventually reached the owner on WhatsApp and was able to get in, but the whole experience was stressful, and I wouldn’t stay there again for that reason. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

Pros:

God værdi for pengene og fint værelse med god plads.

Cons:

Det lå dårligt placeret. Man kunne som fodgænger kun gå rundt lige i nærområdet, det var stort set umuligt at krydse de store veje til de andre dele af Sandakan.
