Convenient and love the pool

We love Posada de Roger every time we stay here. The staff is helpful and pleasant, the rooms are clean, the quiet roof top lovely for watching the sunset and the pool a nice dip after a hot day.

This was our first visit to Puerto Vallarta and staying at the Hotel Posada de Roger. Loved the atmosphere, the lovely gardens, the shared kitchen, access to purified water and the location! Everyone was very friendly, accommodating and constantly cleaning.
The hotel was recommended by my trip leader as a place to stay prior to start of the workshop. It was a pretty basic hotel, conveniently located near restaurants. I had a street view so it was a bit noisy. Price was good, it was safe, clean, with comfortable bed. There was a small pool which I didn’t have a chance to use. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the courtyard/lobby where I could relax and wait for taxi. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for convenience at affordable price.

no shelves in bathroom..Even one would be nice to place toiletries on...Quite noisy at night but it is the vibe of the town..all good and happy with our stay

The check in was flawless, the staff extremely helpful, the pool, and the top floor kitchen was a plus and you can not beat the location! The restaurant affiliate with the hotel is also a plus. I would definitely recommend this establishment to any future guests

We had stayed in all inclusive resorts in the past coming to Puerto Vallarta but for this trip had decided to stay at the Hotel Posada de Roger to experience a more authentic visit to this great city. The staff at the hotel were amazing, rooms were very clean and charming. This is not a high end hotel but what you do get is an authentic Mexican hotel with an awesome location, clean rooms, attentive staff and the feeling that you are part of a family. I cannot say enough about how well the staff looked after us. We ended up extending our stay due to circumstances out of everyones control but we were sure happy to be able to stay here for our extended stay. Personally felt safer than in parts of rural Alberta where we live. This hotel is not really a stay and lounge at the pool kind of hotel - get out and explore knowing you have a safe clean home base to return after a day or evening out. The hotel is within a few blocks of the beach and Malecon, tons of food options nearby. It was tough to leave for back home and we have already booked our stay for 2027!
Superb location, very helpful and caring staff - arranged food for us when there were shortages and felt very safe within. Price was in line with area, family owned and restaurant next door was affordable and very high quality.
Shower was poor, low pressure and cold. Beds were small quite firm- but this may be down to my personal taste.
