Very friendly welcome.
Pros:

The staff were lovely - really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking at the hotel.

Cons:

Our particular room was a bit tired, although it was a decent size. It was a bit noisy too as it was on the road side of the hotel.

No air conditioning is not acceptable, especially in 3rd floor attic rooms
Pros:

Staff friendly and informative. Rooms clean & tidy. Location great for exploring Rye on foot. Breakfast was good and I was even able to get gluten free toast

Cons:

There was no Air conditioning on one of the hottest weekends of the year and we were in an attic room with only a roof light window. A fan was provided but the heat was unbearable. In addition, the hairdryer provided cut out every few seconds due to overheating I think

We were booked in for five nights after the first very noisy night we asked if we could be moved to a quieter room at th

The location was fantastic free car parking and a lovely outdoor seating area. Our room and bathroom were a good size.

Cons:

The whole hotel could do with an upgrade furniture and fittings very dated. Some of the common areas hallways etc were not clean.
