Comfy bed. Good sized room. Perfect location for the Victory Show. The staff were friendly, check-in was straightforward.
The toilet hadn’t been flushed when we arrived at our room. There was no soap in the bathroom sink dispenser. The plumbing was extremely noisy and prevented sleep. The radiators in the room were rusty. The windows didn’t shut easily and the place generally looked tired and run down.
I did not have the breakfast. But the hotel is very convenient for me to use you again soon.
I was quite content plus it was very convenient..
Comfortable rooms. Nice pub with good food. Gtreat value for money
a bit of road noise
A very nice and comfortable place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and so helpful. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable.
It was convenient for the event we were attending.
It was convenient but the whole place was ‘unloved’, rubbish everywhere outside, damaged paintwork, coat hooks hangs off & overgrown greenery. It needs some work!
Food was lovely. Value for money

Very friendly staff. Good Location, Good pub adjacent . Comfy Beds
The annex building appears to have been constructed with macerator waste pumps for toilet and sinks. This are clearly quite old an noisy now. The vibration of these could be heard right throughout the building. Anyone using the toilet late evening, through the night, in the morning sent reverberating sounds that would wake you up (even if a couple of rooms away).
The facilities are clean, but rooms starting to look a bit tired.
You get what you pay for......but the noise would put me off returning.
Convenient Location….was good for what we needed.
Friendly staff
Booked a room for a family of 4 but when we arrived room only had one bed, went to reception to inform them and was told yes but there is a sofa bed! …..although it hadn’t been set up ready for our arrival and was no bedding for it, staff did rectify the problem and tried to find what was needed and was sorted in around 20 minutes but also only had 2 towels between the 4 of us until the 2nd day and had to share the pillows from the main bed as told no extra pillows. Bed was very hard.
Breakfast was ok but not very organised
1st day Cereals but no milk and green/furry fruit in fruit bowl. 2nd day glasses
but no juice.
The staff were brilliant, engaging without over familiarity.
We didn't get room 7 which we were given before and was a nightmare for my wife. She was kept awake by the incessant on / off of a pump somewhere above our ceiling. Lovely place but needs modernisation of the heating and plumbing.
Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful
Evening meal was to a high standard.

The accommodation was excellent clean and every one needs
Two chairs
The room was spacious, there was a fan (which was welcome in this current heatwave), an iron and ironing board in room. The bed was very comfortable too.
There was nothing to not like.
Nice comfortable room and good restaurant
Section of false eyelash in one of the towels
Very poor water pressure through taps and shower
WELL EQUIPPED ROOM WITH COMFORTABLE BED.
REASONABLY PRICED FOOD IN RESTAURANT.
AN ENJOYABLE STAY.
