Hit and miss hotel
Pros:

Restaurant and roo great

Cons:

I was woken up at 4 in the morning by some sort of pump running up in the ceiling god knows what it was but it was irritating enough to stop me getting back to sleep totally knackered the next day at an event and had to cut short so really spoiled the day

Perfect stay for a few nights with lovely staff and good food.
Pros:

Staff were brilliant. Restaurant was the best value for money I have seen in years. Its no Michelin Starred venue but the food was piping hot and quickly served and thoroughly enjoyable.
The room was basic but comfortbale enough for a two night stay. Main road a bit noisy but expected.
I was expecting a prettier garden near the river but couldnt find any other area I missed?

Cons:

Nothing really, its an excellent "budget" hotel and restaurant!

Okay for a short stay.
Pros:

Nice location, room (not in the main building) was very nice and the staff very helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast was mediocre and the WiFi was atrocious, it failed to connect and when on the odd occasion it did, it dropped out after a few seconds.

Pros:

Good room clean and well planned.
Nice position.
Reasonable breakfast
Excellent shower

Cons:

Terrible pillows.
Window latch had screws missing
Making a break in a real possibility.
Single glazed.
Only one towel provided when we arrived.
Next day, no room service, so beds are unmade, bins not emptied, no new coffee or tea in room.
Still stuck with a single towel for a second day, Ugh!
Breakfast on day 2, with an Hr to spare at 9am, 5cm of orange juice left, a few scruffy croissants.
No teaspoons.
And a constant mechanical noise coming from the bathroom which kept us awake for a good few hrs!
This location has great potential, but sadly I'd let down by management who clearly need to address some serious issues.

Pros:

Location is lovely, plenty of outdoor seating, walks and children's play area.Room was spacious and clean however having to climb into a bath for a shower was very difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Cons:

It's worth noting that as a family orientated pub it can become quite noisy although as the rooms are away from the main building this was not an issue.
