The mattress was stained, the mattress protector was dirty and the smell in the room was horrendous.
Clean room, basic but good overall. Good bathroom with excellent shower
Road noise was apparent but it is a central hotel, but further secondary glazing might help
Easy to get to, close to an underground station and the area felt safe enough to walk through as a solo female traveller. Bed was comfy and room was tidy.
Bathroom was really small. Could have done with an extra pillow for a bit more comfort.

Very noisy. Trains, extractor fans, radiator, water running down pipes from other rooms. Very glad I had ear plugs otherwise would not have slept

The hotel is in a great location, as it has direct access to Oval station and several bus stops. There are also places to eat just across the street.
Unfortunately, the lift was out of service and the TV wouldn’t turn on with the remote control
