Pros:

Lovely little hotel. Very clean. Great location.

Cons:

Check-in procedure. First they struggled to find my booking despite sending a welcome email in the morning, then I had to show my passport what I didn't expect and therefore didn't bring it with me. Despite having stayed at this hotel before I had to email a copy of my passport to the hotel. This was a bit annoying but aside from this, we had a great stay

Pros:

Location excellent. Staff lovely. Breakfast fine

Cons:

Our room first not too small and in the basement we did not like that we moved to a bigger room still in basement which we did not like and we could smell sewerage from the bathroom that was unpleasant the cleanliness was fine but a pity we had not good positioned rooms

A gem of a hotel
Pros:

The hotel was incredibly convenient for my needs, and easy to find from the tube.
The staff were just amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and they did it all with a smile.
This is a gem of a hotel (although it doesn't feel like a hotel as the service is so personal)

Cons:

I couldn't fault anything for the price.

Great boutique hotel, ideally located for South Kensington and short walk to Knightsbridge.
Pros:

Room was excellent, even had a little terrace, pity weather did not permit me to enjoy that on this occasion. Location is ideal for South Kensington, Knightsbridge access, with easy Underground (Piccadilly Line) to Heathrow. Opposite the Natural History Museum.

Cons:

South proofing could be better but in these old buildings, structurally, probably difficult to achieve.

breakfast was ok but limited choice. starts late which is not handy as you need to leave early when travelling next morning. a 6.30 start would be more convenient

Recordando los viejos tiempos en el 54th
Pros:

El hotel lo conocía con anterioridad porque solía hospedarme en el. Tras mi última estancia, claramente lo han "actualizado" y la verdad que la reforma ha quedado muy bien.

Cons:

Nada en particular. El único comentario de mejora es el hecho de que, dada mi hora de salida, no pude disfrutar del desayuno ni de alternativa para tomar algo, si bien utilice la cafetera de la habitación.
