The resort fee includes the following:
-Shuttle service between Havana Cabana at Key West and Downtown Key West, provided every hour.

-Poolside cabanas and chaise lounges with service.
-Poolside smoothies served at 12pm in the lobby.
-Cookies and virgin mojitos served from 16:00 until to 18:00 in the lobby.

Met and exceeded expectations, bus was punctual, never too crowded and made stay perfect.

Das Hotel verkauft sich durch die kubanische Dekoration recht gut, es aber alles eher Schein statt Sein.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt sehr weit vom Zentrum entfernt und der Shuttle ist sehr unpünktlich. Das Hotel verlangt PRO NACHT US-$ 61,88!!!! Resort fee und begründet das mit dem (nicht funktionierenden) Shuttleservice, dem laut Angebot kostenlosem Parkplatz, den Gratissmoothies zwischen 12 und 14 Uhr, dem Gratissnack zwischen 17 und 18 Uhr (der um 16,30 Uhr noch immer nicht zu kriegen war) und dem kostenlosen Cocktail von 21 bis 23 Uhr und den freien Poolhandtüchern und Liegen 🙈🙈.
Wenn man so wie wir nur 1 Nacht bleibt und Key West besichtigen will, ist es unmöglich diese vielen „Zusatzleistungen“ in Anspruch zu nehmen. Ich habe versucht das zu erklären, aber das Hotel blieb stur und kassierte.
Außerdem bekamen wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss in einem abgelegenen Teil außerhalb des Hotelbereiches.
Das Hotel war mit US$ 407 für 1 Nacht OHNE Frühstück das Teuerste auf unserer Rundreise - ich würde es nicht mehr buchen.

Rezeptionspersonal könnte freundlich sein und daraufhin weisen das man am Ende des Aufenthalts noch eine Security Gebühr zahlen muss. Pro Tag 100€ finde ich wirklich übertrieben und frech. Zimmer sind sehr dunkel!

Excellent Stay!
Pros:

This was our second consecutive stay at Havana Cabana. It consistently surpassed our expectations. Our shuttle driver Mario was incredibly knowledgeable and courteous and took our Havana Cabana experience to the next level. Looking forward to our next stay!

Good service and amenities, but the rooms need an upgrade
Pros:

We had a mixed experience during our stay. On the positive side, the shuttle service is excellent, the pool area is clean and a lot of fun, and the bar serves great drinks. The free welcome cocktail was a lovely touch that we really appreciated!

However, the room itself was a letdown. We were assigned a room facing the parking lot, and the layout was inconvenient—it featured a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower, with the toilet squeezed into the same cramped space. We also found the ice machine on our floor to be out of commission; it was plugged in but completely non-functional, which was frustrating.

While I personally enjoyed the "Cuban-ish" aesthetic, the room quality simply didn't match the premium price point. Great vibes and service, but the accommodations need to catch up to the cost.

Excellent
Pros:

Excellent hotel! I wanted something a bit away from downtown, relaxed but convenient, and Havana Cabana did not disappoint. I stayed 3 days, 2 nights, arriving late Friday around 10 pm. The front desk staff was friendly, explained everything about my stay, dining hours, amenities, shuttle service, and gave clear directions to my room.

They use wristbands as room keys, which is very convenient. The hotel has two bars, and at check-in you get two free drink coupons per person. The bar atmosphere is friendly, and the bartender made me feel like my vacation had already started.

The pool is large with plenty of chairs, good music, and a great vibe. My room was serviced even for my short stay. I did not try the food, but everything else worked perfectly.

100% recommended. Definitely worth it.
