Lovely building and excellent stay
Pros:

The room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was stylish. Had a lovely cocktail in the bar, which again was a spacious and stylish room. Had read the reviews that said the hotel was worth visiting for the staircase alone and I have to agree. Had breakfast next morning. The choice was very good and the quality excellent. Overall very happy with the stay.

Lovely break by the sea
Pros:

Great location, 2 min walk to seafront. Staff were helpful, particularly with suggesting a seating area with good lighting for my Dad who has some sight loss.

Cons:

I had a cosy room which was fine for solo occupancy, two would have been too cosy!

If all the above issues had been fixed, this overnight stay would have been very good
Pros:

Proximity to Eurotunnel. Adequate and relatively safe parking for motorcycle. Very comfortable bedroom with a decent bed.

Cons:

The hammering noise emanating from a faulty water pump adjacent to my room. Once a reported to the staff, a plumber was called and the problem was fixed. The phone in the room did not work which meant I couldn’t call reception. Receptionist was aware of the problem and apparently BT engineers were supposed to be fixing the problem…

Cons:

It's wasn't cold no heating no hot water had to have cold shower the shower tabs were loose and broken the toilet roll holder was broken the bathroom fan wasn't extremely noisy bin looked like a car went over it wasn't very clean , and the night male receptionist was rude and demeaning and scruffy.

Perfect stay
Pros:

King suite was fabulous, being 6'10" the bathtub was huge! Plus the extra large bed was definitely extra large and brilliantly comfortable. Breakfast was perfect too, we'll certainly return for our EU tips.
