Fabulous
Pros:

Lovely hotel near to the cliff path and town. Very convenient for the Shuttle to France as well as visiting Folkestone. We have stayed overnight many times. The hotel has a small carpark but there is also lots of free parking on the road at the side of the hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms are beautiful and the food is great.

Lovely hotel. Would stay again!
Pros:

Friendliness of staff, very accommodating. Quiet, clean room, spa bath was fab! Beautiful building. Easy to park. We didn't have a dog with us but we liked that dogs were welcome.

Cons:

Room price was a bit high. Pillow was firm to lean on but a bit hard to sleep with. Full English breakfast had been sat there awhile so eggs were hard and mushrooms were chewy!

Beautiful staff with great customer service
Pros:

- Reception staff accommodating, friendly and professional
- Period property / features
- Room size of suites
- Location
- Recently renovated rooms are a good specification
- Recently renovated bar and restaurant
- EV charge point

Cons:

- Lack of parking, but unavoidable due to location
- No air conditioning and windows can’t be opened wide due to pigeons. However, 2 small fans were provided. AC is difficult to install but possible in a period property and should be standard in suites in my opinion eg see Clifton Hotel. Larger tower fans should be standard as a minimum in each room.

A comfortable stop-over for the channel tunnel
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a good size and the shower worked well. Parking was relatively easy and the hotel was close to the sea, where there were a variety of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance.
