Localização
Pequeno almoço podia ser melhor
My bedroom was covered in dust. It was passable because I stayed only for one night.
Lo cogimos únicamente para hacer una noche, por lo que solo fuimos a dormir en nuestro recorrido por las Highlands.
Para una noche, está bien.
Tiene zona de aparcamiento delante o detrás del hotel.
The location was great and very convenient. The hotel was also clean, and I appreciated that the bedsheets were changed every day that’s always a nice touch.
Breakfast was good as well, with a decent selection to start the day.
The place feels quite dated. Even the “Alexandra” sign outside looks a bit tired fixing that alone would improve the first impression a lot.
In the room, a few things were a bit frustrating. There weren’t any proper bedside sockets for charging phones, so I had to unplug the lamp which isn’t ideal. The lighting was also really dim, so the room just felt quite dull.
There was a noticeable cold draft coming from the windows, and the floors were quite squeaky. You could also hear people walking around in the room above, which made it a bit noisy at times.
Parking wasn’t great either the spaces are very tight and I ended up boxed in, which made getting out a hassle.
Overall, it’s not terrible, but it could definitely do with some updates and a bit more attention to comfort.
Mold in the bathroom ceiling, broken side paneling on bath tube, loose floor, water stains on the walls in the bedroom, mold on windows, price is completely disproportionate to the quality we received, we had plenty of other hotels in Scotland and were always quite satisfied with their quality.
Our room was cosy and we liked the location.
It’s all a little bit dated and in need of an update. The room also although it was nice and cosy in the evening and overnight, in the morning before check out it was incredibly hot and we couldn’t open a window to get some air in.
The room was very very tired, carpet was beyond threadbare.Room was desperately needing a refresh.
Staff were very friendly
Breakfast and dinner was very good, Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Decor was a bit tired and I could hear people in the room next door.
Great location with spectacular views.
Food was very good with a good menu and excellent breakfasts.
Hotel is looking a little run down and in need of decorating and some repairs which is why. I have said it didn’t live up to expectations as the photos on your website are now not reflective of the overall look of the hotel and rooms.
