Pros:

There are plenty of board games to play and a self-service drink bar.

Cons:

There is no washing machine in the room. Self-service laundry is located on the 2nd floor.

Small boxy room with no view but good walking distance from the main parts of Osaka
Pros:

Location was good, walking distance to Dotonbori. The service was friendly. The luggage service was great at MIMARU. Games at reception available to hire and free drinks. Laundry was good.

Cons:

The room was pretty small, not much space to put luggage, compared to previous MIMARU locations. The bathroom was also small. The bed was on the ground and not very comfortable. There were games around the hotel but we weren't told about these so didn't play any (different from board game hire). Two lifts to get to the rooms was a bit annoying but ok.

Wonderful family apartment hotel
Pros:

Fantastic location, easy walking distance to attractions including Dotonburi. Friendly staff and great facilities. Wish we had stayed longer. Good room size for family of 5.
