Wonderful staff and a very warm atmosphere. Our room was great with a/c, a great walk-in shower and some English TV
Pros:

Very well appointed and so unlike the chain hotels. Very local in design, colour etc.

Cons:

It has a “cool” pool instead of a heated pool, but we weren’t that interested in swimming anyway.

Gorgeous historic building in great location.
Pros:

A beautiful hotel in a historic building. Gorgeous central courtyard. Staff are fantastic - professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautifully designed, bed super comfortable. Continental breakfast is included in room price. Really central location.

Cons:

Nothing - everything was excellent.

El personal muy agradable, fueron bastante amables y nos intentaron ayudar en todo momento a que nuestra estancia fuera más cómoda. Tuvimos un pequeño percance el primer día porque no teníamos agua caliente, y a la hora de comunicarlo vinieron a arreglarlo, además nos dejaron usar la ducha del gimnasio para que no tuviéramos que esperar y nos agregaron extras en el desayuno como cortesía por esto.

Camera in stile riad marocchino molto tipica e molto carina. Bagno super con tutto il necessario (raro in Messico), parcheggio a pagamento disponibile (ma in zona anche gratuito), supermercato nelle vicinanze fornito e 10 minuti dal centro città

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. The decor was beautiful. Great lacation.

Cons:

Some road noise but our white noise machine helped. Would have liked a larger more up to date tv.

Centrally located in Merida
Pros:

Great property in a perfect central location in Merida. Beautiful courtyard where breakfast is served. Our room was split over two levels, large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is located in close walking distance to the main attractions, as well as cafes, restaurants and shops.
Lovely breakfast served in the bright and welcoming courtyard.

Schöne Unterkunft mit kolonialen Charakter
Pros:

Die Unterkunft lag fussläufig ca. 700 m vom zentralen Platz entfernt.
Sehr schöner kolonialer Innenhof.
Zimmer war in Ordnung, allerdings musste man zum Sanitärbereich eine kleine steile Treppe nach oben steigen.
Das Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

Frühstück startet ausnahmslos erst ab 8:00 h.
Bei Ausflugsbuchungen ungünstig.
Treppe zum Sanitärbereich im Zimmer.
Aber sonst alles gut, empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Pros:

Nice hotel, despite the fact that is all but a "boutique" hotel, at least in the european sense of the word. Anyway, the common areas were rather pleasant, with a central lively colored court in which there is a bar and the breakfast is served. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Clean, large room , with good bathroom.

Cons:

The central court is open air, so they put some powerful fans all around...and one was placed just outside the door of the room and was unpleasantly noisy...had to turn it off personally at night. In addition, the room had the bathroom on the 1st floor, with access through a staircase. This was not a problem, but the ceiling of the room was consequently high and they put the split air conditioner level with the bathroom, so it was not effective in reducing the temperature at the level of the bed.
