The location was convenient
The room was dreadfully uncomfortable. We paid for two nights but left after one due to how uncomfortable we were. We paid for a room that we didn’t even stay in.
Hands down absolutely the most comfortable hotel stay.! The quality of the bedding and the furniture and the blinds from the bathtub to the modern toilet. I am impressed with the decor. Thanks so much for the value of room in a time where I hated staying at any three star hotel due to the cheap interior.
Nothing. All was good.
How the room is clean and very welcoming
Clean easy access
location
I am not sure about your question paid wifi
its a nice place. we liked it
there wasn't anything we didn't like
Great place to stay! Nice clean room. Comfy beds and pillows. Great location
Nothing
Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. We saw the cleaning staff a number of times coming and going from the apartment: so friendly!
I was Whatsapped a link to a check in form only a handful of hours before arrival. When i got to the US my phone service unexpectedly cut out - this meant I could not access the online check in. It was sheer luck when we got to the door of the building that there was a manager there - she even said we were lucky! The manager was so nice and got us sorted out and gave us water - which was really appreciated! With no service, no access to the buildings wifi and the check in form uncompleted we had nowhere to go and no means of making other arrangements. We came close to speding a night sitting on the porch.
The check in form should be sent when payment is made for the apartment. If not, the wifi password for the building should be to avoid this happening again.
There was no kettle in the kitchen so if you did not drink coffee (which we didnt) we had no access to hot water for tea.
There was no large flat surface to put toiletries down in the bathroom - a lot hd to go on the floor.
In the shower cold was hot and hot was cold.
We also booked a double twin room - we got a double room. We had to share a bed when we paid for a double twin.
The location was nice. The facility itself was terrible.
Wreaked of cigarette smoke, frequent weed smells, coffee maker was dirty and has moldy water in the basin, loud music playing in the middle of the night and early morning, my kids got barely any sleep, and we left with our belongings smelling of cigarette smoke- and we don’t smoke!
We stayed here because we were celebrating a New Year’s Eve wedding close by. The hotel was great. Check-in was very easy as was checkout. The amenities were available. Lots of stores nearby. It was a it was a great experience since I’ve never been to Beverly. Highly recommend staying here. I’m sure it’s even prettier in the spring and summer.
Stayed one night at The Beverly in Beverly, Ma. December 27. Lots of positive pluses, and few suggestions.
Positives:
The room was a king suite with a full kitchen including dishes, utensils and cookware. Excellently equipped for a longer stay.
The living room was spacious, with a chair, a comfortable sofa (doubles as a pull out sleeper).
There is a small, convenient two seat dinette against a wall in the living room
The king bed and comforter gave a good night's sleep.
The bedroom and living room each had large wall mounted TV's
The split ac/heat system was quiet and very efficient.
The bathroom included plenty of thick towels, shower mounted dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
The shower had plenty of hot water with great great water pressure
A Keurig coffee maker is provided (we did not use)
The building is on the corner of a pretty busy main road, our room was very quiet, hardly noticed outside noise.
Contactless checkin / checkout was easy after we figured out how to do it.
Our room was at street level, parked at our door
The Depot Diner, directly across the street had fantastic breakfast! Warning: the pancakes are enormous.
There are many convenient stores either walkable or within a very short drive, including grocery, liquor, fast food chains as well as independent restaurants.
And a few suggestions:
The floor is not carpeted, not a problem, but we checked in after a storm, there was snow, slush and salt. We didn't want to mess the clean floor, so a door mat would be a great addition. somewhere to pop off and leave shoes.
The bathroom water pressure was great , but I wish every facility would have handheld shower heads. They are so much more convenient and thorough, I can only imagine they are not offered because of some potential liability issues.
The Bed,
The king bed itself was comfortable, the sheets were not good. They have a very synthetic feel, not at all as a cotton sheet would feel. As a result, the fitted sheets came completely undone and were at the foot of the bed in the morning.
The bed did not feel flat, it felt like the head was slightly raised, this coupled with slippery sheets made for an interesting night of pulling ourselves up.
Security/privacy. All the windows have room darkening curtains and sheers which work very well, however above the door are two small window panels which are not covered in any way. Granted you would have to be extremely tall to actually look in, but either frosted glass or a fabric panel to cover or leave open at the guest's choice would be very helpful.
All in all a very good place to stay, we would certainly not hesitate to stay or recommend The Beverly again.
Although nice upgrades it still felt and had that motel smell and feel. One could hear neighbors getting up and leaving.
We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the well furnished room with a kitchen and amenities. It was clean and comfortable, staff were attentive and low volume. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future! It’s in a convenient location as well.
Posizione centrale. Pulita, con tutto ciò che serve. Personale disponibilissimo.
Siamo stati al piano terra, che è fantastico. Il piano rialzato, senza ascensore, potrebbe essere un problema (almeno per me).
I spent only 2 days but it was very pleasant experience! For the given relatively cheap price, I’ve got full suite with basic kitchen. They provided more than I needed ( extra towels, all necessary cuttlery/dinnerware, paper towels, 2 TVs). I expected 2 star motel but got way better accommodation , nice and modern suite with parking, TV , coffee and extra everything! The only thing I really missed is tea bags ( it’s all about coffee but for tea drinkers- you need to buy tea separately, there is no tea pot and no tea bags/water).
