The family wo run the Lion are fantastic hosts. They helped with so many requests. The food was fantastic...Monday night pizzas are great, one of the best pizzas ive ever tasted...and breakfast was amazing too.
Friendly and relaxed. Lovely room and comfortable bed. Really amazing food. We took advantage of the two course deal and had a beautiful steak and starter.
Could not really fault the room apart from the ceiling needed a little tlc with the paper and the stain.

Great location with parking on the street outside. Breakfast was really great and exceeded expectation. The room is clean and comfy.
The room was a bit stuffy but there was a heat wave before our stay.
The people are great. Room was lovely and the breakfast was so good!
Staff were wonderful and helpful. We arrived on pizza night and got sorted for the last 2 pizzas despite arriving late after a long days cycling.
Bicycles were kept inside in a back room so we're safe and secure.

My husband injured himself just before arriving They contacted Richard who was ex paramedic. He did a fantastic job We also had to leave luggage unexpectedly to be collected. It was not a problem and it was handed over to the courier after we left.
It was during the hottest June day and the room was very hot. A fan would have helped however we didn’t ask for one
Great staff who were exceptional in meeting our needs as a group of cyclists. Secure bike storage snd a delicious early breakfast!
Room was a little musty, but it was v clean and spacious.
Das alte Haus liegt sehr zentral im Ort in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft von Geschäften und einem sehr gut sortierten Supermarkt. Die Bettwäsche, die Handtücher, die Pflegeprodukte, die Auswahl an Kaffees und Tees im Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich hochwertig. Das Frühstück hat uns absolut überrascht, hier gibt es ausschließlich Produkte der allerbesten Qualität. Und das kombiniert mit der unglaublichen Freundlichkeit der Besitzer. Unsere Fahrräder standen sicher in einem nicht benutzen Teil des Hauses.

Für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen dürfte es schwierig werden. Die Treppen sind eng und steil.
We had booked a premium room and it was OK. Generous size, good mattress, dreadful pillow and suboptimal shower in that it was tricky to get your head under it.
Very poor quality pillows and shower too low and not adjustable enough to get your head under without ducking

Great location right in the heart of dulverton.
The hotel is very dated and needs some TLC. Our ceiling actually looked as though it was going to cave in from the damp issue or water leak they clearly have had before.
The bar closes at 3pm on a Sunday but yet you can’t check in til 3.30pm?! This doesn’t make sense to me. £99 I personally think for one night is too much for what we had and I wouldn’t pay it again.
